It Ain’t Just Sports: Building culture, and coaching with University of Richmond’s new women’s basketball coach We’re back with another episode of 12 On Your Side's It Ain’t Just Sports — where the games are just the start of the conversation. In this episode: We sit down with Alisa Kresge, the new head coach for women’s basketball at the University of Richmond. She has coached the previous eight seasons at the University of Vermont, where in her last 5 seasons, Vermont reached at least 20 wins. The team also had their first tournament appearance since 2010 under her coaching. Kresge played collegiate basketball at Marist College and served on their coaching staff for seven seasons, bringing 15 years of experience to Richmond.  She unpacks different aspects of coaching, and what she plans to bring to the University of Richmond in her first season.
