Running The Race of Faith
Welcome to Sports Camp Sunday!! Experience the energy of Keiki Ministry as we celebrate all that God did during our week of Sports Camp. Over 75 keiki were impacted by the Word of God. Our theme this year was Breakaway based on Hebrews 12:1-2 as the keiki learned to break away from the sin that trips us up. Pastor Sarah recaps the messages from the week and adds on one new message to complete the teaching on running the race of faith.
Is There Room For Growth?
Think about it: in the natural, the health of your physical heart determines the health of your whole body. The same is true for your spirit. We’re going to look at Jesus’ teachings in Luke chapters 7 and 8 as a sort of 'diagnostic' for our inner lives. Each Sunday, we’ll ask a different Heart Check question to help us gauge the pulse of our spiritual heart health. In today’s sermon, we'll look at Luke 8:26-39, as we ask ourselves the question: Is there room for growth? A healthy heart is a growing heart. We must make room for Jesus, especially when growth costs us our comfort.
Is There A Pulse?
Think about it: in the natural, the health of your physical heart determines the health of your whole body. The same is true for your spirit. We’re going to look at Jesus’ teachings in Luke chapters 7 and 8 as a sort of 'diagnostic' for our inner lives. Each Sunday, we’ll ask a different Heart Check question to help us gauge the pulse of our spiritual heart health. In today’s sermon, we'll look at Luke 8:40-56, as we ask ourselves the question: is there a pulse? A healthy heart is one that has a strong pulse of faith, alive and beating with trust in God.
How Bright Is The Burn?
Think about it: in the natural, the health of your physical heart determines the health of your whole body. The same is true for your spirit. We’re going to look at Jesus’ teachings in Luke chapters 7 and 8 as a sort of 'diagnostic' for our inner lives. Each Sunday, we’ll ask a different Heart Check question to help us gauge the pulse of our spiritual heart health. In today’s sermon, from Luke 8:16-19, we look at the light that is shining from our hearts as we ask ourselves the question: How Bright Is The Burn? A healthy heart is a glowing heart. When we heed the Word and share the Light, our hearts will always burn bright.
Bitterness & Forgiveness
We are honored to welcome special guest speaker Pastor Bob Johnson, a long-time church planter, pastor, and an apostle in MFI. He will be teaching from Matthew 18:15-35 on forgiveness and how to be cleansed from bitterness in your heart. We believe this sermon is going to set people free as we let go of hurts we have held on to for far too long.
