Softball- Marshalltown Bobcat Classic- Marshalltown beat Colfax Mingo and BCLUW lost to Grundy Center. Grundy Center fell to 2A#1 Grand View Christian, BCLUW lost a tight game to Clark. Don Bosco Tournament- East Marshall outslugged Jesup, West Marshall beat Belmond Klemme. West Marshall beat East Marshall. Brent Prange Classic- West Marshall went 1-1 lost to Boone 1-0 and beat Coon Rapids Bayard 7-6. Grundy Center Softball Coach Kodie Sternhagen, Collins Maxwell Softball Coach Troy Houge, South Hardin Baseball Coach Nathan Weig, 4th of July fun run coordinator Tim Bell.

Baseball- East Marshall wins 3rd straight, West Marshall falls short at Carlisle, North Tama outslugs Colo-Nesco, Collins Maxwell pounds BCLUW. Grundy Center outlasts AGWSR. Baseball- 2A#2 Roland Story beats 2A#8 Grundy Center, East Marshall wins 3rd straight 3-2 at Jesup, GR falls at Hudson 4-3, Wapsie Valley slips past AGWSR, South Hardin shutout Denver. Baseball- Gladbrook Reinbeck upset 2A#8 Grundy Center in 8 Innings 7 to 6, Colo-Nesco scored 4 runs in the bottom of the 6th to rally past GMG 5-4, West Marshall pounded ACA, Collins Maxwell beat North Tama, East Marshall rolled Hudson.
