In New Orleans, the sixth day of January kicks off the Mardi Gras season. The day is called King's Day or Epiphany. It's also the first day that you can eat King Cake without getting dirty looks. In this episode, we talk about whether King's Day is actually Twelfth Night, what leaving early doesn't mean, and what it's like to have a birthday two days after the kickoff of Carnival.
