Description

In 2021, Thailand's Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine approved andrographis (Fah Talai Jone) for early-stage COVID-19 treatment. Andrographolide covalently binds to the p50 subunit of NF-kB one of the most specific and irreversible anti-inflammatory mechanisms known in natural products. This isn't weak binding or allosteric modulation. It's a covalent modification. That's drug-level mechanism specificity in a plant extract that costs pennies.
