Jonah 3 "Bad News, Outrageous Grace"

In Jonah 3, the prophet finally obeys and delivers God’s message to Nineveh—a message of coming judgment. At first glance, it’s nothing but bad news: destruction is near. Yet even in this warning, we see God’s outrageous grace at work. The people of Nineveh respond with repentance, and what could have been the end of their story becomes the beginning of redemption. This message reminds us that even God’s hard words are meant to turn hearts back to Him, revealing His mercy behind the news that seems bad. This sermon is preached by one of our teaching pastors, Clay Worrell in the summer of 2024. Jonah 2 "God's Severe Mercy"

In Jonah 2, the prophet finds himself in the belly of a great fish—swallowed, trapped, and desperate. Yet in this place of darkness, Jonah encounters not God’s wrath but His severe mercy. Through Jonah’s prayer, we see how even discipline can be an act of grace, leading us to repentance and renewal. This message reminds us that God often meets us in the depths of our failures to restore us, reshape us, and call us back to His purpose. Discover how His severe mercy becomes the pathway to His outrageous grace. This sermon is preached by one of our teaching pastors, Trevor O’Keefe in the summer of 2024. Jonah 1:11-17 "An Outrageous Request, Outrageous Grace"

In Jonah 1:11–17, the sailors, desperate to survive the storm, ask Jonah what must be done. His response is an outrageous request—throw him into the sea. This message uncovers how God works through moments of surrender, even when they feel like failure. Jonah 1:1-16 "A Question of Identity, A Gracious God"

In Jonah 1:1–16, the prophet’s flight from God places him in the middle of a raging storm—and forces everyone on board to confront a deeper question: Who really holds authority over our lives? Jonah’s actions reveal his struggle with identity as a prophet of God, while the sailors discover the power of the Lord through fear and surrender. This message explores how our identity is shaped not by our failures or resistance, but by God’s calling and His steadfast grace.
