Cole Saul – Trusting God When You Can’t See the Next Step

Sometimes God works through the moments we least expect. A chance meeting. A closed door. A difficult season. Or an opportunity that seems to come out of nowhere. In this encouraging conversation, John Martin sits down with artist and entrepreneur Cole Saul to share a story about faith, surrender, and learning to trust God’s plan even when it doesn’t make sense. Cole’s journey began with a simple suggestion from his wife. Although he had always been creative and enjoyed drawing, it was his wife who encouraged him to pick up a paintbrush and begin painting seriously. What started as a hobby quickly turned into something much bigger as his artwork began gaining recognition throughout the Emerald Coast and beyond. But like many entrepreneurs and artists, Cole eventually found himself at a crossroads. Despite years of hard work, there were moments when he questioned whether his passion could truly become a sustainable career. There were seasons of uncertainty, frustration, and wondering what God was doing behind the scenes. Then one unexpected event changed everything. After being invited to participate in an art festival, Cole entered with no major expectations. Although he didn’t sell any artwork during the event, something far more significant happened. A simple introduction led to an opportunity he never could have planned on his own. Within days, several of his original paintings were purchased by a collector who immediately recognized the value of his work. What seemed like a disappointing weekend suddenly became a defining moment that opened new doors and gave Cole confidence that God was directing his path. But the greatest transformation wasn’t financial. As Cole reflected on everything that had happened, he felt God drawing him into a deeper commitment of faith. Although he had always believed in Jesus, he realized God was calling him to take the next step publicly. Soon after, Cole made the decision to be baptized in the Gulf of Mexico, publicly declaring his faith and fully surrendering his life to Christ. Since then, he has seen God move in ways he never expected. Whether through his artwork, opportunities to serve others, or even the ability to support causes close to his heart, Cole continues to see God's hand guiding every step of the journey. One of the most powerful lessons he shares is learning to release control. Instead of constantly trying to force outcomes, Cole has learned to trust God with the details and remain faithful to the opportunities placed in front of him. He believes that many people miss God's blessings because they become consumed with worry, fear, or trying to control every outcome themselves. This conversation is especially encouraging for: Artists. Entrepreneurs. Business owners. Young families. And anyone facing uncertainty about the future. Cole reminds listeners that: God is still working even when you can’t see it. Prayer changes perspective. Faith requires trust. And God often answers prayers in ways we never expected. He encourages everyone to: Spend daily time in God’s Word. Stay connected to a Bible-believing church. Build relationships with strong Christian community. And trust God with the areas of life that feel uncertain. You may not see the entire path today. But God already knows where He is leading you. What is one area of your life where God may be asking you to stop worrying and start trusting Him more fully? episode Nate Tiller – From Lost Identity to Lasting Purpose artwork

Nate Tiller – From Lost Identity to Lasting Purpose

Sometimes the biggest battles aren’t visible on the outside. You can come from a good family, grow up in church, have great opportunities, and still find yourself struggling with identity, pressure, addiction, and the desire to fit in. In this honest and encouraging conversation, John Martin sits down with Nate Tiller to share a story that will resonate with many young adults navigating the challenges of today's world. Nate grew up in a loving Christian home along Florida’s Emerald Coast. Surrounded by faith, family, sports, and strong values, life seemed steady and secure. But when he left home for college, everything changed. Like many young people, Nate found himself searching for acceptance and identity in a completely new environment. Early in his college experience, he faced a devastating false accusation that left him feeling isolated, discouraged, and unsure of who he was. The emotional weight of that season pushed him into a lifestyle of partying, alcohol, and drug use. What began as a way to numb the pain quickly became a cycle he couldn't escape. For a while, Nate lived a double life. One version of himself appeared fine on the outside. The other struggled privately with addiction, confusion, and a growing distance from God. But God wasn’t finished with his story. Nate shares how a loving conversation with his father became one of the turning points in his journey. Instead of condemnation, he encountered grace, accountability, and a reminder that he was deeply loved. Soon after, God began placing the right people in his life. Through a small group and the mentorship of Travis Wilburn, Nate found something he had been missing all along—authentic Christian community. For the first time, he had people who would walk alongside him, challenge him, pray for him, and help him build a life centered on Christ. The road wasn't easy. Breaking away from old friendships, old habits, and destructive patterns required sacrifice and surrender. There were lonely seasons and difficult decisions. But through consistent time with God, accountability, and a willingness to trust the Lord, Nate began experiencing real freedom. Today, Nate's life looks dramatically different. He has discovered purpose beyond partying. He has found identity in Christ rather than public opinion. And through God's faithfulness, he met and married the love of his life, beginning a brand-new chapter built on faith and commitment. One of Nate’s most powerful messages is simple: "Choose your hard." Every season of life has challenges. The question is whether we face the temporary difficulty of surrender and growth now—or the deeper consequences of refusing to change later. Nate encourages young adults to: Spend daily time in God's Word. Develop a consistent prayer life. Get involved in a Bible-believing church. Join a small group where accountability and vulnerability are possible. And most importantly, fully surrender every area of life to Jesus. You don't have to stay trapped in the same cycle. You don't have to keep living a double life. And you don't have to figure it out alone. God has a purpose for your life that is bigger than your mistakes, bigger than your past, and bigger than your fears. What is one thing you need to fully surrender to God so you can step into the life He has planned for you? episode Jahan Berns – From Trauma and Darkness to Freedom and Hope in Christ artwork

Jahan Berns – From Trauma and Darkness to Freedom and Hope in Christ

No matter how dark your past may be, God’s light shines brighter. No wound is too deep. No trauma is too severe. And no life is beyond the reach of Jesus Christ. In this powerful and deeply moving conversation, John Martin sits down with Jahan Berns to share an incredible testimony of survival, healing, and God’s redeeming power. Born and raised in Uganda during a time of civil war and political unrest, Jahan’s childhood was marked by profound loss and hardship. Her father, a military leader, was assassinated when she was only six years old, leaving her family devastated and vulnerable. Already living in the middle of a war-torn nation, Jahan suddenly found herself navigating grief, uncertainty, and fear at an age when most children are simply learning about life. Raised in a Muslim household, Jahan watched as her mother struggled with overwhelming depression after her father’s death. Eventually, searching for answers and relief, her mother became involved in occult practices, opening doors that brought even deeper darkness into their lives. Jahan shares how those years were marked by spiritual oppression, trauma, abuse, and emotional pain. By the time she reached her teenage years, she was carrying wounds that seemed impossible to overcome. But God had another plan. While attending a boarding school founded by Christian missionaries, Jahan began hearing the Gospel for the first time. She encountered believers whose lives reflected genuine love, compassion, and faith. More importantly, she encountered Jesus. At just fifteen years old, Jahan experienced a powerful transformation and surrendered her life to Christ. That decision launched a lifelong journey of healing, freedom, and discovering her true identity in God. As she grew in her faith, Jahan overcame intense spiritual battles, endured persecution for becoming a Christian, and developed a deep passion for helping others find the same freedom she had found through Christ. Her journey eventually led her to law school, where she met her husband, and later to the United States, where she became an attorney with a prestigious law firm. By every worldly standard, she had achieved success. But once again, God had a different calling. Despite a thriving legal career, God began stirring her heart toward ministry. In an act of surrender, Jahan left behind the security and prestige of practicing law to found Triumph of Hope, a ministry dedicated to sharing the Gospel, equipping believers, and helping people find freedom from spiritual oppression. Throughout the conversation, Jahan offers profound insight into spiritual warfare, healing, and the authority believers have through Jesus Christ. She reminds listeners that while spiritual battles are real, God has not left His children defenseless. Through Christ, believers have access to: Truth through God’s Word. Healing through His presence. Freedom through the power of the cross. And victory through the authority of Jesus. Jahan encourages anyone struggling with fear, depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, spiritual oppression, or hopelessness to remember this truth: Jesus is greater. No matter what you are facing today, God’s power is stronger than your pain, and His love reaches deeper than your deepest wound. This conversation is a reminder to: Stay grounded in God’s Word. Develop a daily prayer life. Get connected to a Bible-believing church. Surround yourself with strong Christian community. And never stop believing that God can restore what feels impossible. Your past does not define you. Your pain is not your identity. And your story is not over. What would happen if you fully trusted Jesus with the areas of your life that still need healing? episode Richman Priestly – Discovering the Joy of Truly Knowing Jesus artwork

Richman Priestly – Discovering the Joy of Truly Knowing Jesus

Many people grow up around faith, attend church, and know about God. But there is a huge difference between knowing about Jesus and truly knowing Him personally. In this encouraging and heartfelt conversation, John Martin sits down with Richman Priestly to share a story of faith, family, and discovering the life-changing reality of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Richman grew up in a Christian home where the Bible, prayer, and the work of the Holy Spirit were a natural part of everyday life. Raised by parents who passionately pursued God, he was exposed from an early age to powerful examples of faith, worship, and hearing God's voice. Yet despite that strong foundation, Richman realized there comes a point when every person must encounter God for themselves. For him, that defining moment came during his freshman year of college. After changing his summer plans and attending a Christian discipleship program, Richman experienced a powerful encounter with the Holy Spirit during a worship service. As he worshiped, he felt overwhelmed by the presence and love of God in a way he had never experienced before. During that moment, God began revealing His purpose and calling over Richman’s life. What started as a single encounter became the beginning of a deeper journey—one marked by intimacy with Jesus, a love for God's Word, and a passion to help others experience God for themselves. Throughout the conversation, Richman emphasizes that Christianity is not merely about religion, church attendance, or good behavior. At its core, it is about knowing Jesus personally. He points to the words of the Apostle Paul: “I count everything as loss compared to the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus.” For Richman, this has become the pursuit of his life. He also shares an important message for those carrying shame, guilt, brokenness, or feelings of unworthiness. No matter your background, your failures, or your past mistakes, Jesus is still pursuing you. His love is not reserved for perfect people—it is available to everyone willing to receive it. One of the most powerful themes discussed is the fear of the Lord—not fear rooted in terror, but a deep reverence and love for God that causes us to desire what He desires and turn away from what separates us from Him. Richman explains that true transformation happens when we begin to care about what God cares about and allow our hearts to become aligned with His. This conversation offers practical encouragement for anyone wanting to grow closer to God: Spend daily time in God's Word. Develop a personal prayer life. Get connected to a Christ-centered church. Surround yourself with believers who encourage and strengthen your faith. And most importantly, pursue a genuine relationship with Jesus. God is not looking for perfection. He is inviting you into relationship. You are loved. You are wanted. And no matter where you are today, Jesus is still calling you closer. What would change in your life if your greatest goal became simply knowing Jesus more deeply? episode Felix Amwayi – Surrendering Everything to Follow God’s Purpose artwork

Felix Amwayi – Surrendering Everything to Follow God’s Purpose

Sometimes God asks us to leave behind everything familiar so He can lead us into the purpose we were truly created for. Comfort. Security. Plans. Even the life we thought we wanted. In this powerful and inspiring conversation, John Martin sits down with Felix Amwayi to share a testimony of radical surrender, bold faith, and living fully for the Kingdom of God. Originally from Kenya, Felix had what many people would consider a dream life. He held a respected government job, had financial stability, and was building a secure future. But in the middle of that success, God began speaking to his heart with an unexpected call: “Go to America.” At first, Felix resisted. In fact, he didn’t even want to come to America. The culture felt unfamiliar, distant, and uncomfortable to him. But God continued to pursue his heart and eventually gave him a powerful dream that changed everything. In the dream, Felix saw a woman preparing to take her own life. As he pleaded with her not to do it, he suddenly heard himself say: “I’m going to resign my job tomorrow.” The moment he surrendered, the woman lowered the gun. When Felix woke up, he knew God was calling him to obey. Leaving behind security, career stability, finances, and everything familiar, Felix stepped out in faith and moved to Florida to attend Bible school—even though he knew almost no one there. What followed became a testimony of God’s faithfulness. Felix shares how the Lord provided for him step by step: from housing, friendships, financial provision, and divine connections, to completely transforming his perspective on purpose and evangelism. While attending Bible school, Felix realized something that changed his life forever: We were not created to live for ourselves—we were created to make Jesus known. Since then, he has devoted his life to boldly sharing the Gospel everywhere he goes: On airplanes. In airports. On beaches. In businesses. On the streets. With strangers. With anyone willing to listen. Felix passionately explains that many people are simply waiting for someone to notice them, pray for them, and remind them that God loves them. He believes too many believers stay silent because of fear, insecurity, or distraction—while countless people around them are desperate for hope. One of the most powerful themes in this conversation is surrender. Felix reminds listeners that true purpose begins when we stop living only for ourselves and start living for what matters eternally. He challenges believers to stop allowing distractions, comfort, and fear to keep them from fulfilling the purpose God created them for. This conversation is filled with encouragement for anyone wrestling with obedience, fear, uncertainty, or purpose: God can be trusted. Obedience opens doors. And surrender leads to transformation. Felix encourages listeners to: Spend daily time with God in His Word. Get connected to a Christ-centered church. Surround themselves with healthy Christian community. And boldly share the love of Jesus wherever they go. You were created for more than survival. You were created for purpose. And your obedience may change someone else’s eternity. What’s one thing God may be asking you to surrender so you can fully walk in His purpose for your life? For more information contact us at rtrdestiny@gmail.com
