Sin expectativas, sin investigación previa, vagamos por la ciudad, dejándonos guiar por su energía caótica. Después de una larga búsqueda, finalmente encontramos la entrada al templo, solo para enfrentarnos a obstáculos, dudas y desafíos inesperados. Desde el miedo a dejar atrás nuestras pertenencias hasta el momento en que un sacerdote inesperadamente nos condujo al interior, cada paso se sintió como una prueba de fe y entrega. Caminando descalzos sobre el suelo ardiente, rodeados por el aroma del incienso y el murmullo incesante de oraciones, sentí algo que va más allá de toda explicación. La sagrada Shiva Linga, en el corazón del templo, irradiaba una energía que las palabras no pueden capturar. Marcado con ceniza sagrada, adornado con guirnaldas y guiado a un espacio de meditación en silencio, experimenté un momento de quietud absoluta—20 minutos que se sintieron como una eternidad. Cuando finalmente salimos, el caos de Varanasi seguía intacto, pero yo era diferente. Una paz profunda se había instalado en mí, como si hubiera despertado de un sueño. On March 6, 2025, an unplanned visit to the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi turned into one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life. Without expectations, without prior research, we wandered through the city, letting its chaotic energy guide us. After a long search, we finally found the entrance to the temple—only to be met with obstacles, doubts, and unexpected challenges. From the fear of leaving behind our belongings to the moment a priest unexpectedly led us inside, every step felt like a test of faith and surrender. Walking barefoot on the scorching ground, surrounded by the scent of incense and the murmurs of endless prayers, I felt something beyond explanation. The sacred Shiva Linga at the heart of the temple radiated an energy that words fail to capture. Marked with sacred ash, adorned with garlands, and guided to a space of silent meditation, I experienced a moment of pure stillness—20 minutes that felt like an eternity. When we finally stepped outside, the chaos of Varanasi was unchanged, yet I was different. A profound peace had settled within me, as if I had awakened from a dream. This is the story of that journey—a mix of doubt, faith, surrender, and transformation. A journey that started as a simple visit and became something much greater.
