Description
Our guest speaker, Darcy Dueck, introduced Jesus' prayer from John 17. As Jesus was preparing to leave the disciples and return to the Father, He prayed with and for the disciples, but also for us. Jesus prayed about His identity, acknowledging that His time had come, and He asked God to glorify Him so that He can, in turn, can glorify the Father. He prayed about eternal life and knowing the only true God. And then Jesus asked to be restored to glory, acknowledging that He had completed the work that was set before Him.
