Description

July 1987, two in the morning, on a dead-end road outside a town called Thalia, Arkansas. Luna's aunt phoned her that night — not for comfort, but for a witness. A neighbor's boy had been sleepwalking again, but this time he walked past the property line and kept going, straight into the overgrown lot at the end of Cypress Lane. What they found there wasn't the boy at first — it was the smell, sweet and rotten, hanging in the wet air like something exhaled. The lot had been empty for years, a tangle of kudzu and rusted car parts, but that night something had bloomed. Something that shouldn't have. A single flower, white as bone, tall as a man, its petals slick and trembling in the dark. The boy stood in front of it, perfectly still, his mouth open just a little. Luna tells the story the way her aunt told her — piece by piece, in the dark, over the phone, as if saying it all at once might make it true. #FexingoHorror #HorrorPodcast #StaticLullaby #CypressLane #ThaliaArkansas #NightBloomingFlower #Sleepwalking #July1987 #SmallTownHorror #Kudzu #BoneWhite #SweetRot #SouthernGothic #LunaNarrates #AnthologyHorror #Unsettling #AtmosphericHorror #StandaloneEpisode Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo [https://buymeacoffee.com/fexingo]

The Barn on Trestle Road

October 1987. A woman named Marguerite lives alone in a falling-down farmhouse on Trestle Road, just outside the town of Innis, Iowa. Her husband left two years ago. Her daughter is grown and gone. She keeps the radio on all night because the silence is worse. But one night, the radio stops playing music. Instead, she hears a child's voice—not from the speaker, but from the barn. Every night, the same voice, the same phrase: 'Mama, I'm cold.' Marguerite tells herself it's a stray cat, a loose board, the wind. But she knows better. She knows that voice. She knows whose voice it is. This is a story about the thing you cannot un-hear, and the choice to walk toward it anyway. #FexingoHorror #HorrorPodcast #StaticLullaby #TrestleRoad #InnisIowa #Marguerite #TheBarn #RadioStatic #ChildsVoice #October1987 #FarmhouseHorror #GriefHorror #LunaReads #SoloNarrated #AtmosphericHorror #SlowBurnHorror #AmericanGothic #TheVoiceInTheDark Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo [https://buymeacoffee.com/fexingo]

episode The Vitrine on Meridian Avenue artwork

The Vitrine on Meridian Avenue

Luna revisits a late-autumn night in 1992 on Meridian Avenue in the small town of Elwood, where a curio shop window displayed a single doll behind glass—a porcelain girl with cracked blue eyes and a velvet dress the color of dried blood. The shop had been closed for years, but the doll's gaze followed her from the curb, and the name on the dusty brass plaque beneath it wasn't a manufacturer. It was a child's full name, with a date of death. Luna tells the story of what she did next: asking old Mrs. Hollis at the diner, finding the town library's archive of obituaries, and learning that the name belonged to a girl who vanished in 1978—and whose mother had owned the shop before she boarded it up and disappeared. The doll never blinked. The episode ends with Luna standing in the cold, pressing her palm to the glass, realizing the vitrine was never for display—it was a holding cell. #FexingoHorror #HorrorPodcast #StaticLullaby #PodcastHorror #LunaNarrates #Elwood #MeridianAvenue #PorcelainDoll #Vitrine #CurioShop #ChildrensObituary #SmallTownHorror #1992 #AutumnHorror #HoldingCell #CrackedBlueEyes #VelvetDress #DollStories Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo [https://buymeacoffee.com/fexingo]

The Toll Bridge on Meridian Road

In the summer of 1987, the old toll bridge on Meridian Road outside of Bainville became a shortcut for those who knew its secret. Luna's cousin Hannah used it every night to get home from her shift at the diner, until the night she didn't. The bridge keeper never took her coin, and the rusted gate swung shut behind her. This is the story of what she found on the other side, and why she still leaves a silver dollar on the windowsill every evening at dusk, even though she won't say who it's for. #FexingoHorror #HorrorPodcast #StaticLullaby #TollBridge #MeridianRoad #Bainville #Hannah #SilverDollar #BridgeKeeper #Summer1987 #Diner #Shortcut #RustedGate #OpenWindow #AmberGlow #Nursery #Crib #RuralHorror Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo [https://buymeacoffee.com/fexingo]

The Phonograph on Larkspur Lane

Summer 1997, Larkspur Lane, a dusty cul-de-sac on the edge of Whistler, Missouri. Luna recounts the summer she spent house-sitting for her aunt, a retired music teacher with a collection of wax cylinder phonographs. One machine, a 1903 Edison Standard, played alone at night. The recordings were not music. They were children's voices, faint and repeating, calling for a mother who never answered. The more she listened, the more the house remembered something it had tried to forget. A story about what happens when a house holds onto a sound longer than it should. #StaticLullaby #HorrorPodcast #FexingoHorror #LarkspurLane #WhistlerMissouri #Phonograph #EdisonStandard #WaxCylinder #ChildrensVoices #Summer1997 #HouseSitting #EmptyNursery #SoundHaunting #RecurringTune #MotherAndChild #Grief #AtmosphericHorror #LunaNarrates Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo [https://buymeacoffee.com/fexingo]
