Guy Lloyd is our resident UK Publishing Expert. In a 40 year publishing career, Guy worked for some of the biggest publishing houses in the business, including Penguin Random House, BBC Books and Virgin. He joins us once a month for all the latest book news. This month he's talking about the decline of WH Smith, The Beano, The British Book Awards, and new books from Jo Brand and Celia Imrie.  Robin Rowan's mother was a writer and his father was an engineer, so he was brought up on Wind in the Willows and Meccano.
