The 414 Deli Smorgasbord (6/4/26)

Don’t call it a comeback…..like for real, because we never left! The OPEN sign is plugged in and the guys are back (FINALLY…The Deli…you get the reference). A lot has happened in the world of sports since our last episode but we’re going to do our best to play catch-up. The NFL schedules have been released so you already know a breakdown is coming! Speaking of, definitely can’t pass up on the recent blockbuster trades involving Myles Garrett and AJ Brown. The NBA finals have kicked off so that is also a topic of discussion. Can KAT avoid being KAT and help NY win it all or will Wemby and that young core prove this is just the beginning of another Spurs dynasty? Which playoff losers are going to push their chips in for a run next year? Will Giannis be involved in that push or do we have enough to keep him in MKE? The Milwaukee Brewers are on a tear, moving from last place in the division to first and the 3rd best NL record. Small ball has been the key to their offense but this pitching group is fire! Can they sustain this play or do they need to make a splash move (trade or prospect call up)? Cisco takes a moment to honor his father-in-law who passed away a few weeks ago. Big Packer and Florida Gator fan. Hoping he helps bring the Pack back to the Super Bowl. Dennis, you will be greatly missed.

414 Deli Post NFL Draft Delicatessen

What it do 414 Deli family!? Fresh off the completion of the 2026 NFL draft, the doors are open and the deli case is stocked! Grab a number and come on in as the fellas are prepped and ready for some draft discussion. The episode begins with a review and analysis of the first round of the draft. The guys talk about which picks were the best fits, which teams got a steal and which teams lefts us scratching our heads. Hard to say who won the first round of the draft, especially when, on paper, it seems to be the same abysmal organizations winning. The focus switches to our Green Bay Packer selections and how we feel they fit based on where they were selected and how they’ll fit on this current roster. Didn’t feel like e had many reaches and definitely hit areas of need. Even saw a double dip at CB, as Cisco had predicted. Undrafted free agents are a thing of lore here in GB. Do any of our 11 signings have a chance at sticking around? Apologies for Ryan’s technical issues during this portion of the pod. Might have to give him a Trey Smack for messing that up!

Happy 414 Day from your favorite sports podcast! Well, by the time you’re listening it won’t be but you get the gist. With that in mind, the fellas are here with some good ol’ hometown conversation. Bucks. Badgers. Packers. Brewers. What’s the plan look like for Giannis and the Milwaukee Bucks? Keep the pick or use it in a trade? With the Wisconsin Athletic Director taking a new gig, can we expect to see a change in how we handle NIL? The basketball program is definitely in need of some uplifting while the football program might be on the upswing. With the NFL draft coming up next week, what are we expecting from Gutey and the gang? How are we feeling about the Wicks trade? The Brewers had a hot start but are now on a 5 (well now it’s 6) game losing streak. Yelich is likely to miss a month with an abductor strain. Are we concerned with this change in performance? The guys finish off the episode with some quick hits and a shout out to Ryan for reaching 20 years of service in the Air Force. Wu-Tang!

The 414 Deli Smorgasbord (4/1/26)

This is it y’all, the final 414 Deli episode! Sike! After a few weeks off, the fellas are back, refreshed and ready for business. Today we have some “Homer” content for the state of Wisconsin. Bucks. Packers. Brewers. Along with a sprinkle of the NCAA Final Four action. Officially eliminated from playoff contention, how bleak is the future for the Milwaukee Bucks? NFL Team grades were released with some notable changes for the Green Bay Packers. Matt LaFleur made some comments regarding our playoff woes. Are these things connected? The Milwaukee Brewers are off to a hot start! Can we expect to sustain a similar output throughout the season? Have they figured out a system to fight against the MLB financial elites? The Madness has made its way into April with the Final Four coming up this weekend. Who do y’all got?!
