Abena has worked in the sustainability sector for 15 years, her lightbulb moment came in 2016. She was frequently expected to organise events for my clients outside of my main responsibilities. She was also juggling a demanding job with trying to arrange various special occasions for my friends and family. Alice Ojeda Founder of Authentic House

About Authentic House Authentic House is for people who want to change their lives to be in line with their values, by reducing their environmental impact in a way that’s positive and long-term. The inspiration for Authentic House came from seeing a simple fuzzy washing up brush made of coconut fibres. It was beautiful, practical and such an obvious alternative to a plastic brush. Alice found more small products like this and realised that eco-friendly living is easier than people think. A change can begin with the smallest step. She launched an eco-friendly subscription service to make this lifestyle change effortless for people, and to help them find ethical products and makers that really did match their values. Donna Johnson - Founder of NAIL'D IT
