Description

00:00 Welcome back to the program on your Friday afternoon. Everybody looking forward to the weekend. I know I am. And it's, yeah, you're right, JJ. I forgot all about it. I don't know why it slipped my mind. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible. 00:29 with liberty and justice for all. 00:36 Oh 00:40 for amber waves of grain, for purple mountain majesties. 01:12 share his grace on thee. 01:25 America is back. Yes, sir. Well, the Democrats, they're kind of in a bit of a panic now and it's coming from a source that they didn't expect. You see, Joe Biden wrote this new memoir and this is another book that nobody's going to Nobody. Here's what's going to happen. 01:55 The Democrat Party, which by the way is broke, they are like $14 million in the hole. They have almost no cash on hand, but I digress. They're going to go in and they're going to buy all of these Jill Biden books and then they're going to take it to, it's going to be the top of the New York Times bestseller list or whatever. And they're going to be promoting this thing pretty heavily. So she was on with Rita Braver the other night and it was kind of interesting what Jill Biden said. 02:25 Let's take a listen to this because it's one of the things you go, did you really just say that? We all thought it, but here we go. Were you horrified as you saw it unfold? I wasn't horrified. I was frightened because I had never, ever seen Joe like that. The COVID, excuse me, dealing with everything we have to do with. 02:55 Look, if we finally beat Medicare. Thank you, President Biden. Before or since? Never. Or since? Yes. Or since? You've never seen anything Never. No. What happened? I don't know what happened. I mean, as I watched it, I thought, oh my God, he's having a stroke. And it scared me to death. It scared her so bad. It's, oh, this is I feel so sorry for. 03:25 It scared her so bad that she went on stage right after and she said this. then she was so, she was so concerned about her husband that she started a chant of four more years. 03:52 And then after that, did she take him to the hospital? Did you take him to go get medical care? Just to get checked out, make sure everything's okay? No, they went to Waffle House in Atlanta. They literally went and got him some scattered, smothered, and covered. Got one of those patty melts. She wasn't. So the Democrats are like, oh my, why did she come out? 04:22 What is the fraud here? It's absolutely fraud. 04:29 You did such a great job, you answered every question. So now, this is according to Dana Perino over at Fox News, so now we know that this is what she's saying in her book and the question I would love to ask her is, were you lying then or are you lying now? 04:48 That's Jill Biden after that debate. Was she lying then or she lying now? Did he do a great job or were you scared to death for him? Which one is it? So now the Democrats, so here's what the Democrats, they've got this and you probably heard this several times today, but they're gonna say, well, who are you gonna believe? 05:08 You're going to believe your own lying eyes. We saw the decline of Joe Biden. We saw it. We saw it constantly. I mean, what? How many times did he screw up? How many times did he mispronounce that? And I don't mean just mispronounce things. I'm talking about destroying the English language. 05:37 It really is amazing. Remember this? when Joe Biden said this? 05:44 America is a nation that can be defined in a single word. was gonna put him in, excuse me. Yeah, no, everything's fine with Joe. No, he's sharp as a tack. Absolutely sharp as a tack. But then after that debate, I mean, when you looked at, when you watched CNN after that debate, because I remember we were at, 06:09 Willie Taco, was us, Fourth District Republican Club, the Young Republicans, um all these groups out ...

A listener shares his diagnosis story; Charlie talks Trump and Biden's book.

During this segment of The Charlie James Show, a listener named Mike from Spartanburg called in to share his personal healthcare experience. He described how his persistent physical symptoms were repeatedly misdiagnosed by physicians who prescribed ineffective psychiatric medications. It wasn't until he researched his symptoms himself and successfully pushed for specific testing that he was correctly diagnosed with an H. pylori bacterial infection. Host Charlie James validated Mike's situation, agreeing that patients often intuitively understand their own bodies. James then previewed an upcoming national address by President Donald Trump, which he noted would detail specific evidence of Chinese interference in the 2020 election. The segment concluded with a humorous preview of a new book written by President Joe Biden, alongside criticism of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.

Dean, a caller from Hendersonville, stated he has voted for Trump three times and supports him, though he notes Trump missing a term may have allowed people to see the negative effects of the Biden administration on the economy before Trump's return. Host Charlie James then shared a recent study from the Fed attributing illegal immigration as a sole driver for a 30% increase in home prices and a 20% increase in rental prices, along with rising healthcare and auto insurance costs. Afterward, Barbara from Greenville called in to share her positive experience using the animal formulation of Ivermectin to treat her COVID-19 infection. She and James criticized Representative Davey Hiott for fighting against a bill that would have made the medication available over-the-counter and for making dismissive remarks telling citizens to go to a tractor supply store for horse paste.

SC Dem Sen candidate Dr. Andrews shares medical & policy views.

In this interview, South Carolina Democratic Senate candidate Dr. Annie Andrews explains that her decision to enter politics stemmed from witnessing systemic policy and healthcare issues firsthand during her 15-year career as a children's hospital pediatrician. She emphasizes that despite political divisions, South Carolinians share common goals like reducing living costs, improving roads, and securing quality education and affordable healthcare. While critiquing the profit-driven nature of the current healthcare system and calling for lower prescription drug costs, she favors pragmatic reforms over an immediate shift to a Medicare-for-All system. On social issues, Andrews supports reasonable abortion restrictions aligned with Roe v. Wade and views transgender care as a private matter between families and physicians. Additionally, she strongly supports funding law enforcement to help combat gun violence and advocates for comprehensive immigration reform that balances border security with humane treatment and clear paths to citizenship.

Charlie James analyzes how a lobbyist connection killed SC Ivermectin bill

Host Charlie James previews his upcoming interview with South Carolina Democratic Senate candidate Dr. Annie Andrews before revisiting the state's legislative battle over making Ivermectin an over-the-counter medication. Despite the bill passing nearly unanimously in both the House and Senate, it was ultimately sent back to the Agricultural Committee and effectively killed by Representative Davey Hiatt. Drawing on research from Diane Hardy of the Mom and Pop Alliance of South Carolina, James reveals that Representative Hiatt's son, Lander Hiatt, is a registered lobbyist for the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA). He suggests that the bill's sudden defeat may have been directly influenced by this deep-seated lobbying connection to major pharmaceutical companies like Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson.

Charlie James debates Democratic masculinity and is called by a listener.

Host Charlie James begins the second hour of his Thursday afternoon show by playing a crowd chanting the Pledge of Allegiance and the national anthem, reminding listeners of his upcoming 4:35 PM interview with South Carolina Democratic Senate candidate Dr. Annie Andrews. He then launches into a segment arguing that the Democratic Party has a "man problem" and is struggling to appeal to male voters after years of promoting theories of "toxic masculinity". Highlighting an article from The Atlantic written by Russell Berman, James mocks progressive efforts to reclaim traditional masculinity by spotlighting blue-collar Democratic candidates like Brian Poindexter and utilizing running mates like Governor Tim Walz. He asserts that these depictions are nothing more than a superficial, theatrical pantomime of manhood. Finally, he takes a call from listener Dave in Spartanburg, who raises questions about how Dr. Andrews was recruited and whether she will remain a moderate or flip to progressive stances once elected.
