Tackling Religious Trauma W/ Psychotherapist, Samantha Speed

Religious Trauma is a growing field of study and research in clinical settings, but still, many patients go under-diagnosed or undiagnosed with this within therapeutic settings. For this week's podcast, I sat down with psychotherapist Samantha Speed to discuss the signs and treatments for Religious Trauma symptoms. According to Research Gate [https://www.researchgate.net/publication/369327217_Percentage_of_US_Adults_Suffering_from_Religious_Trauma_A_Sociological_Study], 27 - 33% of US adults have symptoms of Religious Trauma which include a lack of self-trust, ruminating thoughts, a sense of "badness" and more. Let us know your thought on this episode in the comments.
