About The Cyclical Doula Podcast: Fertility Awareness, Charting Cycles, and Reproductive Health Education

The Cyclical Doula Podcast is a space for honest conversations about cycles, body literacy, motherhood, and what it actually looks like to live in relationship with your body.I’m Emma — Your Cyclical Doula. I’m a certified SymptoPro Instructor, fertility awareness educator, miscarriage doula, and mom of two. I teach women how to chart their fertility signs, understand their cycles, and rebuild trust with their bodies — and this podcast is where those teachings meet real life. Some episodes are personal reflections on hormones, cycle shifts, charting practices, and the messy, tender realities of womanhood. But this podcast is also deeply rooted in conversation. You’ll hear interviews with doulas, educators, clinicians, wellness practitioners, and women with lived experience — people working across fertility, birth, hormones, nervous system regulation, mental health, and motherhood. Together, we explore what’s working, what needs to change, and what women deserve to know about their bodies and their care. These conversations are grounded and human, thoughtful dialogue about cycles, embodiment, informed choice, and learning to listen to what the body is communicating.Whether you’re postpartum, trying to make sense of your chart, navigating hormonal changes, or simply tired of being told your body is too much, this space is for you.Your body isn’t broken — it’s cyclical, communicative, and worthy of care.Let’s talk about it together.

Finding Your Voice Through Loss: Motherhood, Resilience & the Power of Vulnerability with Nicole

In this deeply moving conversation, Emma sits down with Nicole Recker, an entrepreneur, author, and mother who has transformed her personal journey of loss and trauma into a powerful message of hope and resilience. Nicole shares her story of navigating two pregnancy losses, the emotional toll of infertility, and how speaking her truth publicly became a catalyst for healing—not just for herself, but for countless others who felt seen and less alone. Together, they explore the importance of vulnerability in motherhood, how to protect your peace while juggling multiple businesses and family responsibilities, and why saying no is just as powerful as saying yes. Nicole discusses her rituals around gratitude, crystals, and affirmations, and shares the profound impact of the buffalo metaphor—a symbol of running toward the storm rather than away from it. You'll hear about: • Navigating pregnancy loss and the isolation that comes with it • How sharing your story can create unexpected ripple effects of healing • Balancing entrepreneurship, motherhood, and nervous system regulation • The power of community and finding your tribe during difficult seasons • Redefining success and family when life doesn't go as planned • Using human design and body awareness to honor your authentic yes and no • The importance of creating safe spaces for others to be vulnerable This episode is a testament to the strength it takes to keep going, the courage required to speak up, and the transformative power of letting others know they're not alone.
