In this episode in our series during the month of July, with all the stressful events going on in our country today, I thought it would be helpful to think about what we can do to help our kids understand some of the difficult events happening in our country today from ICE raids, killings and shootings. We can get caught up in a cycle of repetition and habits when we are overwhelmed by life and our responsibilities. Later, we can look back and wish that we had been more thoughtful about how to address certain events in the life of our family better, especially when it comes to our children. It is also made up of some of the sweetest moments of our lives, and we would not trade it for the world. With all that is happening in our country today, It is helpful to teach our children how to manage the uncertainties of life at the level they can understand.
