Show Notes [NEWS] Two people are dead following a crash involving e-bike riders in Sacramento County near Eagles Nest Road and Woodring Drive, just south of the Mather Golf Course. Sacramento Metro Fire says four people were involved in the collision. Two victims were transported to the hospital with major and moderate injuries, while the two e-bike riders died at the scene. Officials say two individuals attempted to flee following the crash but were later arrested on related charges. The roadway was temporarily closed while the California Highway Patrol investigated. The road has since reopened. Also : Stolen Vehicle – Arrest Mack Road & Franklin Boulevard — 2:23 a.m. Sacramento Police located a stolen vehicle and safely detained the driver. A passenger fled on foot into a nearby apartment complex. Officers established a perimeter, but the suspect was not located. [CITY WATCH] Sacramento will welcome elite swimmers from around the world this week as the 2026 TYR Pro Swim Series arrives at the North Natomas Aquatics Complex May 20th through the 23rd. The nationally televised event will feature Olympic gold medalists Torri Huske and Ryan Murphy, along with Sacramento native and world champion Luca Urlando. City officials say the event is expected to bring athletes, coaches, and spectators from across the country while boosting local hotels, restaurants, and businesses in the Natomas area.
