He suffered a fatal heart attack at his home in Belvidere, North Carolina, shortly after returning from a 20-day promotional tour for his memoir and just after completing his weekly radio broadcast. The Media Research Center continues to battle ABC and is recommending that the FCC not renew the broadcast license for the network because the network is a "partisan cable network"
