Today we’re anchored in Gospel of Matthew 5:8, where Jesus Christ says, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” — Matthew 5:8. That verse is powerful because it shifts the focus from what you do… to why you do it. Jesus isn’t talking about outward performance, He’s talking about the condition of your heart. Because you can look disciplined on the outside, but internally be driven by pride, greed, pressure, or the need to prove something.

What Are You Really Chasing?

Good morning fam!! Welcome back to Trading with Jesus. Today we’re anchored in Gospel of Matthew 5:6, where Jesus Christ says, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.” — Matthew 5:6 (ESV). That verse hits because it exposes what you’re really chasing. Hunger and thirst aren’t casual, they’re intense, they’re urgent, they’re necessary. And Jesus is saying that same level of desire should be directed toward righteousness, toward being aligned with God, not just getting results.

Led by the I AM

Today we’re stepping back and resetting our perspective. We’re anchored in Gospel of John 8:58, where Jesus says, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.” That statement is powerful because Jesus isn’t just saying He existed before Abraham, He’s saying something much deeper. He doesn’t say “I was”… He says “I AM.” That’s the same name God gave in Exodus, which means Jesus is not just part of history, He’s outside of it, eternal, unchanging, fully God.

You’re Starting This Month From Victory

Today we’re anchored in Book of Revelation 1:17–18, where Jesus says, “Fear not, I am the first and the last, and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades.” — Revelation 1:17–18.

He Was There Before It Started

Today we’re anchored in Book of Isaiah 41:4, where the scripture says, “Who has performed and done this, calling the generations from the beginning? I, the Lord, the first, and with the last; I am he.” — Isaiah 41:4. That verse is God reminding us that He’s not just part of the story… He’s over all of it.
