episode 5.10.26 An Inward, Real Holiness cover

Description

Today, Jesus teaches us to look for the right fruit, and good fruit comes from a good tree. He's teaching us that he doesn't just want us to try to do good works but wants to transform our inner being such that we have an inner goodness and holiness that comes from him.  This is the goal in Jesus' teaching, not that we would just be saved from hell, but that we would be transformed in our inward person.

A Whale's Gratitude and How Paul Was Not an Escapist

Today we introduce our Summer Podcast series, talk about a whale showing gratitude, and share how scripture teaches us that God comes here to renew us.  Too often Christianity is taught with an escapist view... that God will whisk us off this planet, so we talk about a proper and biblical view to replace this.  1.
