Description

Week 5 of Weigh-In Monday and today’s truth is… the scale and I are not friends right now. 😂 My framework is BMMT: Body. Mind. Movement. Truth - Be Mighty! And the truth is, I had pizza again… and yes, I also had a small mix of Garrett’s cheese and caramel popcorn. Yep. I said it. So when I got on the scale, I felt frustrated. I felt disappointed. And honestly, I had one of those moments where I wanted to blame myself, the pizza, the popcorn, and the scale all at the same time. But here’s the other truth: I have still been showing up. I’ve been working out, building muscle, and focusing on my arms, thighs, and core. So even when the scale is acting stupid, I’m reminding myself that progress is not always measured by a number. This is Rethinking Weight. This is being honest. This is showing up anyway. Body. Mind. Movement. Truth. 🎻 Music by The Barefoot Violinist | https://TheBarefootViolinist.com [https://thebarefootviolinist.com/] | @TheBarefootViolinist 🌐 Visit: https://RethinkingWeight.com [https://rethinkingweight.com/] 📚 Get your eCookBooks / Workout Equipment - under SHOP 🎁 Grab your FREE Gift on the homepage 🎥 Watch the video version on YouTube: https://youtu.be/3aNg867OtqE #RethinkingWeight #WeighInMonday #StupidScale #BodyMindMovementTruth #BMMT #WeightLossJourney #RealWeightLossJourney #MoveLite #ShowingUpAnyway #MindsetMatters #FitnessJourney #WomenAndWeight #EmotionalEating #ProgressNotPerfection #ReleaseTheWeight

Day 10: The Work Was Working | Strength, Recovery & Be-Mighty

Day 10 is a real and personal reflection on strength, consistency, and what happens when life catches you off guard. Right before playing violin at church, Regina fell and hurt her leg badly. She didn’t think she could push through, but Be-Mighty kept ringing in her spirit, Move Forward stayed on repeat, and Truth reminded her that consistency matters most when life is hard. This episode is about more than a fall. It is about realizing that the small daily choices - movement, stretching, balance work, walking, strengthening, and showing up - may be preparing your body for moments you never saw coming. Sometimes the work does not look like it is working until life reveals that it was. Regina reflects on pain, recovery, strength, balance, stamina, and the powerful truth that movement is not just about losing weight. It is about living stronger, standing steadier, recovering better, and becoming unbreakable. Watch on Youtube: https://youtu.be/5n5KmPly4bQ [https://youtu.be/5n5KmPly4bQ]

Day 9 - Arms In Motion LIVE with MoveLite™ | No Equipment Upper Body Workout

Day 9 of June's 30 Day Challenge Walk-A-Mile With Me LIVE is paused right now because of my injury… but movement is not canceled. I’m hurting, I’m swollen, and I’m down from walking right now because I fell and injured my left leg pretty badly. But I’m still showing up. I’m still moving. I’m still doing what I can. So today, we are shifting. ARMS IN MOTION LIVE with MoveLite™ starts at 12 PM CST. No equipment. No weights. Just your body weight. This is gentle movement for the arms, shoulders, upper body, and spirit. You can do what you can, pause when you need to, and move at your own pace. Come work out with me every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 12 PM CST. Zoom Link: ArmsInMotion.RethinkingWeight.com [http://ArmsInMotion.RethinkingWeight.com] We may have to pause one thing, but that does not mean we quit everything. Reflection Question: When one part of your journey has to pause, what part of you can still move, grow, heal, or strengthen - and how can you remember that you are not quitting, you are adjusting? Now Let’s Be-Mighty Together. Day 8: Weigh-In Monday: I Released More Weight, Then Life Made Me Pause

It’s Day 8 of the June Challenge, and I am celebrating a powerful weigh-in moment - starting at 224, went up to 227 and now at 218. After completing her first full week of working out with Walk-A-Mile With Me LIVE on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, an unexpected fall on Sunday changed the plan. While walking down just two steps, her left knee gave out, causing swelling, pain, and the need to pause from walking. But the journey is not over. In this episode, Regina talks about honoring progress, listening to the body, adjusting movement, and refusing to let one setback erase the courage it took to begin. Reflection Question: When life forces me to pause, how can I still honor my progress without feeling like I have stopped? Now Let’s Be-Mighty Together. Episode 10: The Blame Game the Right Way: Marriage, Healing & Faith with Dr. Ruby E. Powell

In this powerful episode of Rethinking Weight, Regina Williams sits down with Dr. Ruby E. Powell - counselor, empowerment coach, speaker, ministry leader, author, wife, mother, and longtime advocate for children and families. Dr. Powell shares the heart behind her bold book, It’s All His Fault/It’s All Her Fault: The Blame Game the Right Way, and opens up about marriage, blame, healing, faith, commitment, and learning how to turn accusation into growth. Together, Regina and Dr. Powell talk about how upbringing, past experiences, and the examples of marriage we witnessed can shape the way we love, communicate, and sometimes wound each other. This conversation goes deeper than marriage advice. It is about emotional healing, personal responsibility, patience, prayer, and learning how to rethink blame in a healthier way. Dr. Powell also walks us through her powerful 4-B Principle: Be Prayerful. Be Patient. Be Proactive. Be Permanent. Whether you are married, preparing for marriage, healing from relationship wounds, or simply learning how to communicate with more grace, this episode will encourage you to pause, reflect, and rethink the way we handle blame, love, and commitment.
