episode 51. My Flexible Nighttime Routine for Burnout Recovery cover

Description

In this week's fun/extra episode, I share my current night routine that is helping me move through chronic exhaustion and get back into my body and the present moment. This routine is less about rigid structure and more about listening to myself. I am sharing this as a reminder that allowing ourselves time to recharge isn't only needed when we're overworked, but is also needed consistently to keep us charged. This episode is the third and final part of my chronic exhaustion mini-series. This episode was recorded in a moment of deep exhaustion and low energy. It's here to give you permission to rest in a way that actually works for you. 🌙 In this episode, I share: * The sensory experiences of my night routine * How I’ve learned to show up for myself consistently, not just when I’m at my limit * A step-by-step look at what I do each night after putting our toddler to bed * How to create a routine that feels supportive without being rigid or restrictive 📓 Journal prompt of the week: What am I ready to put down from today? ✍️ My Poetry & Reflections Notion Page: https://www.notion.so/Morgan-Sneed-Poetry-Reflections-294fbd79ed638009bf42dc1cddabf4fd?source=copy_link [https://www.notion.so/Morgan-Sneed-Poetry-Reflections-294fbd79ed638009bf42dc1cddabf4fd?source=copy_link] 🌐 My Socials: All my links in one place: https://linktr.ee/morgzworld [https://linktr.ee/morgzworld] Instagram: @morgansneedd TikTok: @morgansneed 🎙 Want to start your own podcast? 56. When the Fear of Being “Too Much” Starts Controlling Your Relationships

In this week’s insight episode, I talk about what happens when the fear of being “too much” starts controlling the way we show up in our relationships. This episode is the realization that sometimes, anxiety controls our behavior along with our emotions. I share some of the ways fear can turn emotions into panic, urgency, hypervigilance, and self-protection, and how healing is about learning to stay connected to ourselves without letting fear become our identity. 🌙 In this episode, I share: * How fear of abandonment can change the way we act in relationships * Why people are often more overwhelmed by our panic than our emotions themselves * How hypervigilance & over-explaining can reinforce the fear that we are “too much” * A reminder that healing is not becoming less emotional, but learning how to stay grounded while feeling our emotions 📓 Journal prompt of the week: What emotions do I tend to turn into stories about myself or how others feel about me? ✍️ My Poetry & Reflections Notion Page: https://www.notion.so/Morgan-Sneed-Poetry-Reflections-294fbd79ed638009bf42dc1cddabf4fd?source=copy_link [https://www.notion.so/Morgan-Sneed-Poetry-Reflections-294fbd79ed638009bf42dc1cddabf4fd?source=copy_link] 🌐 My Socials: All my links in one place: https://linktr.ee/morgansneed [https://linktr.ee/morgansneed] Instagram: @morgansneedd TikTok: @morgansneed 🎙 Want to start your own podcast? episode 55. Maybe I Was Never Too Much artwork

55. Maybe I Was Never Too Much

In this week’s reflection episode, I talk about the painful feeling that who you are, at your core, might be “too much” even for the people who love you deeply. After a recent experience with loved ones left me feeling emotionally overwhelmed and disconnected, I began unpacking the deeper emotions hidden beneath my anxious-avoidant attachment style, hyper-independence, and fear of being misunderstood. This episode is about recognizing what happens when we stop dismissing our emotions, learning that sensitivity is not the same thing as weakness, and understanding that healing can feel messy before it begins to feel peaceful. 🌙 In this episode, I share: * What it feels like to believe your emotions overwhelm other people. * The connection between burnout, emotional sensitivity, and feeling misunderstood. * How overexplaining can become a coping mechanism for fear and rejection. * Learning that feeling deeply is not a moral failure and that you don't have to shrink yourself to feel loved. 📓 Journal prompt of the week: Write about a moment in your life where you first started feeling like you were “too much” or “not enough,” and reflect on how that experience may still affect you today. ✍️ My Poetry & Reflections Notion Page: https://www.notion.so/Morgan-Sneed-Poetry-Reflections-294fbd79ed638009bf42dc1cddabf4fd?source=copy_link [https://www.notion.so/Morgan-Sneed-Poetry-Reflections-294fbd79ed638009bf42dc1cddabf4fd?source=copy_link] 🌐 My Socials: All my links in one place: https://linktr.ee/morgzworld [https://linktr.ee/morgzworld] Instagram: @morgansneedd TikTok: @morgansneed 🎙 Want to start your own podcast? 54. Small Things That Make Healing Worth It

This episode is part 3 of my three-part "realizing you're healing" series. In this week’s fun episode, I talk about the small things that make healing feel worth it. From bookstores and rainy days to deep conversations, outfits that finally feel like you, and moments where you realize you were fully present without trying to force it, this episode is a reminder that healing often becomes real through tiny moments first. I also share some life updates about burnout recovery, quitting my job, and the unexpected experience of being without a phone for two days after mine got run over on Mother’s Day. 🌙 In this episode, I share: * Why moments of true presence can feel so healing * Tiny comforts that make hard seasons feel softer * The people and relationships that make life feel easier * Small accomplishments that deserve to be celebrated * How healing can start to feel real through everyday moments of joy 📓 Journal prompt of the week: Compile a list of your own personal small moments of joy. ✍️ My Poetry & Reflections Notion Page: https://www.notion.so/Morgan-Sneed-Poetry-Reflections-294fbd79ed638009bf42dc1cddabf4fd?source=copy_link [https://www.notion.so/Morgan-Sneed-Poetry-Reflections-294fbd79ed638009bf42dc1cddabf4fd?source=copy_link] 🌐 My Socials: All my links in one place: https://linktr.ee/morgzworld [https://linktr.ee/morgzworld] Instagram: @morgansneedd TikTok: @morgansneed 🎙 Want to start your own podcast? 53. Signs You're Actually Healing

This episode is part 2 of my three-part "realizing you're healing" series. In this week’s insight episode, I talk about what healing can actually start to look like after surviving hard seasons of life. This episode is a continuation of last week’s conversation. This episode is not about “moving on” quickly, but about finally recognizing healing in real time. I share some of the small, overlooked signs that you may be healing, even if you still struggle, overthink, or feel deeply. 🌙 In this episode, I share: * Being able to sit with boredom, discomfort, and scary/big emotions * How anger can become information instead of something to suppress * What it looks like to stop performing and start becoming more yourself * Recognizing small moments of peace, presence, and beauty in everyday life * A reminder that healing is non-linear, layered, imperfect, and still worthy of celebration 📓 Journal prompt of the week: What are small ways your life, thoughts, or behaviors have recently shifted, and how might those actually be signs that you're healing? ✍️ My Poetry & Reflections Notion Page: https://www.notion.so/Morgan-Sneed-Poetry-Reflections-294fbd79ed638009bf42dc1cddabf4fd?source=copy_link [https://www.notion.so/Morgan-Sneed-Poetry-Reflections-294fbd79ed638009bf42dc1cddabf4fd?source=copy_link] 🌐 My Socials: All my links in one place: https://linktr.ee/morgzworld [https://linktr.ee/morgzworld] Instagram: @morgansneedd TikTok: @morgansneed 🎙 Want to start your own podcast? 52. Realizing How Resilient I Have Always Been

CW: This episode discusses the reality of living through and healing from emotional abuse. This episode is part 1 of my three-part "realizing you're healing" series. In this week’s reflection episode, I talk about recognizing healing in moments that once felt like pure survival. I recorded this while reflecting on some of the hardest periods of my life, and realizing that even then, I was showing up for myself in ways I never fully acknowledged. This episode is about finding joy within hardship, understanding the deeper meaning behind difficult emotions, and seeing that growth can exist even when it doesn’t feel like it. 🌙 In this episode, I share: * What it looks like to be healing even when you feel like you’re struggling. * Shifting from self-blame to identifying emotional abuse. * The connection between pain and joy, and how they can exist at the same time. * My experiences with emotional hardship, self-doubt, and learning to trust myself again. * How anger, resentment, and discomfort can actually be signs of growth. * The small, overlooked moments that showed I was becoming who I am today. 📓 Journal prompt of the week: Reflect on a difficult time in your life and identify the subtle ways you were actually healing or doing better than you realized in that moment. ✍️ My Poetry & Reflections Notion Page: https://www.notion.so/Morgan-Sneed-Poetry-Reflections-294fbd79ed638009bf42dc1cddabf4fd?source=copy_link [https://www.notion.so/Morgan-Sneed-Poetry-Reflections-294fbd79ed638009bf42dc1cddabf4fd?source=copy_link] 🌐 My Socials: All my links in one place: https://linktr.ee/morgzworld [https://linktr.ee/morgzworld] Instagram: @morgansneedd TikTok: @morgansneed 🎙 Want to start your own podcast?
