I take you through my own journey, from growing up counting coins for the electricity meter during Bollywood film nights, to opting out of a pension in my 20s (because I had no clue what it even was), to finally getting financially clued-up in my 30s. I share the real talk behind the gender and class finance gaps, why so many women, especially from working-class or ethnic backgrounds, get left out of money conversations, and how I went from financially lost to feeling financially powerful. It’s part story, part stats, all heart and hopefully the nudge you need to start your own money glow-up. Because financial literacy? It’s your superpower.
