Setting boundaries is a healthy practice to protect ourselves from burnout, stress and energy-vampires. They’re also a form of self-respect and what we call a “Perimeter” around our sphere of energy, an area that needs an invitation to enter.

Taking care of a loved one who is ill takes a village in the Samoan culture. But that doesn’t mean that the village operates perfectly. Here we talk about ways to deal with conflicting personalities and avoiding negative energy as we are care-giving a loved one.
