Episode 9 - We're Hunting Rabbit

A week can be a long time; that’s how long Rabbit has been missing following his surprisingly uneventful apprehension by Eddie Brooks and his mysterious new employers. Worried about the whereabouts of his companion and fearing the worst, Xander embarks on a seemingly fruitless search and seeking the aid of the Five-O New Responders, he meets with Bryce and many others to find whatever leads he can and learns that help comes in unexpected forms. Meanwhile, Gina and Archie are having difficulties of their own. Following his repair, Archie has been experiencing some unexpected malfunctions that lead him and his friends on a chase to uncover secrets of the past. And in a secret, undisclosed location, Rabbit finds himself finally coming to and coming face to face with someone with deeper ties to his past than he’s comfortable with. Special - A Look Back

We’re back! We may have taken a brief break, but we’ve returned with a new SPECIAL for you all. With over ten hours of story already having been told in the form of eight main episodes and two minisodes, we thought that this might be a good time to look back on what’s happened so far. We chose this for two main reasons: to give those of you who have been listening regularly a convenient recap as we move into the latter portion of our first season, and to give those who haven’t listened a good jumping off point if they’d like to start now. Worry not, this isn’t a clip show. This small story sees our Vault Dwellers discussing not only the events that have transpired since Reclamation Day but also sees them discussing a bit of what their lives were like back in Vault 76. Come for the recap and stay for new tidbits of information about the characters. As of this posting, the script for episode 9, titled “We’re Hunting Rabbit,” has been fully written and is being recorded, and the script for episode 10 is over halfway written. Minisode 2 - Dead & Breakfast

“Sorry… we are completely booked.” Those words are a warning to any who might wander into the Mountainside Bed and Breakfast nestled in the mountains along Highway 102. During the first Halloween out of the vault, Rabbit and his friends (among others) try to have a nice fun night of friendship, board games, and the occasional snack. Little do they know that their choice of venue hides a dark secret. This is the second planned “minisode” of Appalachia: A Fallout 76 Story. For this story we look at what happened during the first Halloween outside of Vault 76 directly before the events of “The Halloween Where Nothing Happened,” the episode of CHAD: A Fallout 76 Story that introduced first introduced Xander and Rabbit. This tale is set between the events of episode 7 and episode 8 in the timeline. Episode 8 - Of Rabbits and Robots

Season 1 - Episode 08: Of Rabbits and Robots Far in the future, deep within the dark and increasingly shrinking confines of Vault 63, Xander seeks a brief reprieve in the nebulous bathroom created by Mr. Dark. This respite is short lived however, and he resumes the story that began several years prior. Unknown to him and the other survivors of the fires above ground they weren’t the only ones who had made it into Vault 63. While working on some projects for customers of the workshop Xander, Gina, and Archie plan a trip to RobCo Research Center to seek out parts and plans that might help bolster the shop’s defenses. Along the way they learn that Archie seems to be suffering from some peculiar abnormalities in his memory. Meanwhile Eddie meets with a mysterious and potentially dangerous new employer who has an assignment that he simply can’t turn down. Who are these mysterious employers? What might this assignment be? What impact will his actions have on those around him? Some of these questions just might be answered. Everyone is beginning to find their place in Appalachia, but how long will they be able to maintain their footing before things are shaken up? Minisode 1 - Scrap Iron Chef

Cooking isn't always easy but in the wasteland it requires a certain special something; something Xander clearly lacks. A brief back-and-forth with Archie leads the gang into an unexpected competition joined by some even less expected contestants. This is the first planned "minisode" of Appalachia: A Fallout 76 Story. For this story we take a look at something a bit less serious (but still a bit absurd.) With the holidays having taken center stage last month we wanted to give our cast a bit of a breather, so we have prepared this special story in the meantime. We are currently hard at work with episode 8 and will have that ready for release next month on our regular schedule.
