Today let's Ask the Question: What will our bodies be like in the New Creation? Today is part two of my conversation with Cam Horner and we're discussing Sheol, the resurrection, the New Creation, and our new bodies. What will they be like? What traditions about "heaven" are simply that and don't accurately reflect scripture? Where are we going when we die? Jesus had scars on His body after the resurrection; will we also? Join us for the first episode of 2024 to dive into all of this and more! How can the Church Be More Full & Beautiful When People with Disabilities Have a Place of Belonging? With Cameron Horner

Today let's Ask the Question: How can the Church become more full and beautiful when people with disabilities have a place of belonging? (Today you'll see and hear many iterations of this question, mostly because it's a very important question to ask, and it's hard to condense for YouTube titles 😉). Today I'm chatting with Cameron Horner who shares some of his story and experience. We talk about disability and the Church, disability theology, and how we can do better as the family of God to embrace our brothers and sisters who experience disability, giving disabled people a place of belonging. The robust, beautiful, fullness of the Body of Christ can only truly be experienced when everyone in this diverse family truly belongs. Part 2 will follow soon! Where do Faith and Psychology Intersect? With Robert Strock

Today let's ask the question: Where do Faith and Psychology Intersect? I'm chatting with Robert Strock on his work in therapy, psychology, and his fascinating new projects aimed at helping others. Our conversation is aimed more at where personal faith and therapy (and faith and career in general) intersect rather than the intersection of reformed, evangelical, traditional, orthodox beliefs and therapy. Robert and I land on very different pages in regards to salvation, pantheism, universalism, etc. but His approach to having conversations amidst the disagreement is so refreshing, kind, and respectful. We chatted prior to this recording and got a feel for the different faith spaces we're both coming from, so this recorded conversation is not geared at debating doctrinal statements or conversion. Love is not agreeing on everything, but rather seeking someone's good. Robert was so kind to chat with me, and share his experience here.
