I’m celebrating my one-year podcast anniversary with a behind-the-scenes look at how this show started, why it almost didn’t, and what kept me recording even when I felt exposed, uncertain, or simply exhausted. This milestone also lands next to a deeply symbolic moment in my breast cancer survivor journey: having my chemo port removed. If you’re a first-generation Latina daughter, you might recognise how fast money turns into responsibility, guilt, and a quiet belief that you have to grind to be worthy.  We talk about scarcity mindset as an inherited wound, not a personal flaw.
