What if the way you were writing your affirmations… was why they weren't landing? In this episode of Being in My Goodness, I'm sharing a practice called Embodied Notes. Your mind can repeat something a thousand times and your body still won't believe it. That gap… the one between what you consciously want to believe and what your body is actually carrying is where so many affirmations stall. This practice closes that gap by bringing your body into the process. All you do is write a short note to yourself like a goal, a belief, something you want to embody with your non-dominant hand. That one shift slows everything down. It opens space between the words and lets the message move past your mind and into your body. I've been doing this for years. And I can trace real shifts in how I write, how I show up, and how I move through my work directly back to it. --- Each week I we add to this practice A new exercise to be in your goodness To test drive them and create your practice Grab your own list here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1j53yXVYVmXnz3PHfV3IOPwe_SwLA2ePOWbqJGVc0fWM/edit?usp=sharing [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1j53yXVYVmXnz3PHfV3IOPwe_SwLA2ePOWbqJGVc0fWM/edit?usp=sharing] Updated weekly --- Enhance it with your Human Design How You’re Designed to Show Up  A free Human Design experience https://www.triciaedwards.com/designed-to-show-up [https://www.triciaedwards.com/designed-to-show-up] Substack https://substack.com/@triciaedwards1 [https://substack.com/@triciaedwards1]

ep 20 New Rhythms

What if the new things you're already doing… deserved a moment of recognition? In this episode of Being in My Goodness, I'm sharing an identity-anchoring practice called New Rhythms. Our identities are always becoming something. Either more of what we want, or less. And the small new things we do every day are the building blocks of who we're becoming. Like the habits we're trying, the shifts we're making. This practice is about naming them so they take root. Not analyzing. Not measuring results. Just pausing to say: this is something I do now. And letting yourself feel good about it. You might surprise yourself with how many new rhythms you're already living. --- Each week I we add to this practice A new exercise to be in your goodness To test drive them and create your practice Grab your own list here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1j53yXVYVmXnz3PHfV3IOPwe_SwLA2ePOWbqJGVc0fWM/edit?usp=sharing [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1j53yXVYVmXnz3PHfV3IOPwe_SwLA2ePOWbqJGVc0fWM/edit?usp=sharing] Updated weekly --- Enhance it with your Human Design How You’re Designed to Show Up  A free Human Design experience https://www.triciaedwards.com/designed-to-show-up [https://www.triciaedwards.com/designed-to-show-up] Substack https://substack.com/@triciaedwards1 [https://substack.com/@triciaedwards1]

ep 19 Unhooked & Released

What if growth wasn't only about what you're building… but about everything you've already put down? In this episode of Being in My Goodness, I'm sharing a celebratory micro-practice called Unhooked & Released. We spend so much time tracking what we're still working toward. But there's a whole other kind of growth that rarely gets acknowledged like the habits, patterns, and ways of being you've quietly let go of. This practice is about pausing to name them. Not to dwell. Just a quick, conscious moment of recognition: I don't do that anymore. Because you created that change. And it deserves to be noticed. Keep the bar low. Even one small thing counts. --- Each week I we add to this practice A new exercise to be in your goodness To test drive them and create your practice Grab your own list here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1j53yXVYVmXnz3PHfV3IOPwe_SwLA2ePOWbqJGVc0fWM/edit?usp=sharing [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1j53yXVYVmXnz3PHfV3IOPwe_SwLA2ePOWbqJGVc0fWM/edit?usp=sharing] Updated weekly --- Enhance it with your Human Design How You’re Designed to Show Up  A free Human Design experience https://www.triciaedwards.com/designed-to-show-up [https://www.triciaedwards.com/designed-to-show-up] Substack https://substack.com/@triciaedwards1 [https://substack.com/@triciaedwards1]

ep 18 Awaken Body Tap

What if your body has been waiting to be included… and all it needed was a tap? In this episode of Being in My Goodness, I'm sharing a regulating practice called Awaken Body Tap. When we lead with our minds, our bodies often get left behind. And when your mind is moving forward while your body is frozen, shaking, or numb, you're working against yourself sending mixed signals without even knowing it. This practice uses touch to wake your body up and signal your nervous system: we're here, we're safe, we can move. It's one of the very first practices I learned for regulating my own body, and one of the first things I introduced to my son when he was one. He's 13 now. It's still one we use. Simple. Discreet. And it works every time. --- Each week I we add to this practice A new exercise to be in your goodness To test drive them and create your practice Grab your own list here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1j53yXVYVmXnz3PHfV3IOPwe_SwLA2ePOWbqJGVc0fWM/edit?usp=sharing [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1j53yXVYVmXnz3PHfV3IOPwe_SwLA2ePOWbqJGVc0fWM/edit?usp=sharing] Updated weekly --- Enhance it with your Human Design How You’re Designed to Show Up  A free Human Design experience https://www.triciaedwards.com/designed-to-show-up [https://www.triciaedwards.com/designed-to-show-up] Substack https://substack.com/@triciaedwards1 [https://substack.com/@triciaedwards1]

ep 17 Birding

What if something as simple as a squiggle… could get you out of your own way? In this episode of Being in My Goodness, I'm sharing a playful micro-practice called Doodle Birding. When you're in your head before starting something… like second-guessing, overthinking, quietly convinced it won't work, this practice gives you a way back to yourself that doesn't take long and doesn't require anything serious. A doodle bird starts as a random squiggle on a page. What it becomes is entirely up to the moment. And that's the whole point. I've been making doodle birds for about four or five years. Over time I noticed that whatever I worked on after making one took less time. Because I was second-guessing myself less. I tracked it for a full year, and by October 2023, one of my most intensive quarterly projects was taking about 55% of the time it used to. Almost cut in half. Small shifts add up. I also have a Doodle Bird series on YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2RV8xHr0jLk&list=PLf1iMzcLQeLaUlgYR4QOIYVeETw3o7ALi [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2RV8xHr0jLk&list=PLf1iMzcLQeLaUlgYR4QOIYVeETw3o7ALi] --- Each week I we add to this practice A new exercise to be in your goodness To test drive them and create your practice Grab your own list here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1j53yXVYVmXnz3PHfV3IOPwe_SwLA2ePOWbqJGVc0fWM/edit?usp=sharing [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1j53yXVYVmXnz3PHfV3IOPwe_SwLA2ePOWbqJGVc0fWM/edit?usp=sharing] Updated weekly --- Enhance it with your Human Design How You’re Designed to Show Up  A free Human Design experience https://www.triciaedwards.com/designed-to-show-up [https://www.triciaedwards.com/designed-to-show-up] Substack https://substack.com/@triciaedwards1 [https://substack.com/@triciaedwards1]
