Today I caught up with an old friend. Vinh Nguyen is a Kinjaz member, an alumni Director/member of SGBM, alumni dancer of Urban Fx and Future Shock SD. He started his career in SD and is now an International Choreographer.

They are also actively putting out some dope choreography/ videos thanks to Gerald Nonato (VIBRANCY MEDIA)!!! The Kinjaz are the leaders of a new generation of dancers and still remain the homies. With members rooted in Kaba Modern, PAC Modern, The Company, CADC, GRV to name just a few - they have a bond and brotherhood that deserves to be celebrated. They open up about their origin stories | WOD moments | their experience on the group| urban choreo vs hip hop and life lessons for younger dancers. So dope to be able to share with them. Janelle started her dance career in high school crews & Eastlake High Dance Company. She went on to book an agent and teach at the BOX Dance Studio at 18 yrs old. She has experience in the community from dancing on 220 for many years. She teaches all over Social Dance Scene and now travels to China for dance! In this chat, she talks about her mom, her career in the industry, and her travels to China. She also has a special message about anxiety and how that impacted her decisions in the past. Janelle sends out a really brave confession to 220 team as well. I loved how vulnerable and honest she was - totally had an Oprah moment.
