Boog Club
After a long respite, the boys come back together to finish Part 2 of Thus Spoke Zarathustra. We start off with Zarathustra hitting on a basic principle of life: human hierarchy. There are those who obey and those who command. Listen as we take a deeper dive into both of these role and how they fit into life, contrasting the two and recognizing you can be both. Boog Club also sees Zarathustra advising us to not be so tensed up and continue to be joyful. We delve into this idea and how it relates to falling deep into existential thought or into misery due to the terrible aspects of the world. Tying back into Nietzsche’s desire for the creation of values, we also see the warning against the Frankenstein of ideas and cultures. This idea leads us into the comparison of our society and this concoction of culture. This invokes the revisitation of what it really means to make your desires innocent and create your own values. Lastly we discuss the limitation of Will; the Will’s prisoner. How does this prison that surrounds Will affect us as people? We talk about how this manifests into negative emotions and approaches to take to avoid these feelings.
