Against the Tide: The Golev Story - A Book Review

Join me in looking at the biography of Sergei Golev. His biography, "Against the Tide," recounts his work as an evangelist in the Soviet Union. This is a great book for self reflection! Consider your own faith while reading this and ask yourself if you would have stood as strong as he did! Disclaimer: This is another review that I recorded in June but was delayed in posting.....so when I wish you a great summer at the end.....that is clearly in the past now, so now I wish you a lovely autumn!

Wars and Rumors of Wars by Gary DeMar: A Book Review

Disclaimer......I recorded this book review this past spring! At that time I had finished up my first (and last - for now) year of teaching and was transitioning into a role of homeschooling stay-at-home-mom. More changes have since developed, however, as life continues to be a bit tumultuous. It just goes to show that we as humans can have the best laid plans and think we know what we're going to do in the upcoming weeks and months....but God knows our path, and we often find ourselves going in a different than planned direction. ANYWAY! LOL! All that to say that the intro is a bit outdated and life continues to change. But I didn't want to go through the hassle of re-recording. It is what it is - take it or leave it. BUT! This book was a great read. It was a short book but not the easiest for my stressed brain to focus on. But I found it extremely helpful and enlightening in explaining the passage Matthew 24. Enjoy!

This book is one that all Christians should read....more than once! It is SO GOOD!
