Episode 21: Dealing with uncertainty

Uncertainty is increasing. Rapid changes at various levels in the big picture have an impact on our daily lives, our systems, organisations, teams and and individuals also in the workplace. This episode looks into why it is becoming more important to deal with uncertainty and difficult situations at work, what we can do about it and how we can nourish trust, confidence and agency within ourselves and others. As usual I give examples from my own experience of working in European policy and cooperation in Brussels and with universities across Europe as leadership and team coach, moderator, facilitator and EU policy and foresight professional. In this episode I share why I believe it is important to give ourselves some space in between two things, two jobs, two projects, two activities, two meetings, or simply the time to take a conscious breath before moving forward. I share my own recent experience with consciously taking a step back from a routine that I had developed in my work, when I noticed that it doesn't fit my current business phase anymore.
