Paulie is checking in from Italy talking about the last two weeks of boxing. We saw some incredible action and some fights left us wanting more. What the hell was DAZN doing on Saturday night? Why were these events even scheduled in the first place? Does Canelo deserve all of the accolades thrown his way? We got you covered on Brooklyn To The World!

Paulie is back to work on Showtime this Saturday with a triple-header featuring 154lb challenger Erickson Lubin taking on hard hitting Nathaniel Gallimore. Also on the card are Robert Easter Jr. at his first fight at 140lb taking on the always tough Adrian Granados and we get our first close look at undefeated Cuban Heavyweight, Frank Sanchez. Also on Saturday night, Shakur Stevenson is fighting his girlfriend's brother, the also undefeated Joet Gonzalez, for the vacant WBO Featherweight Championship. Not to be outdone, Regis Prograis and Josh Taylor, two undefeated Junior Welterweight Champs will go at it early evening on Saturday to see who is the best at 140 pounds. We also talk about the monster that is Artur Beterbiev and why he is the best at 175 right now....but don't sleep on Bivol either!

Patrick Day was not just a boxer. He was a young man that was loved and respected by everyone that knew him. Paulie was fortunate enough to know and spar with Patrick as well as his trainer, Joe Higgins, so this hits really close to home. On this episode, Paulie talks about the kind of man Patrick was and he voices his frustrations with the sport and suggests what type of change is needed in order to save it, and potentially save lives in the process.

Paulie coming in hot from being at MSG and is not shy sharing his opinion on the excellent GGG - Derevyanchenko fight and boxing judges in general. Derevyanchenko now has lost a split decision to Danny Jacobs and a disputed decision to GGG...will he get another opportunity? Now we see why Canelo gave up the IBF title rather than face him! We also talk about the dominance of Eastern European fighters, failed VADA tests, Tyson Fury on Smackdown and Raw, Crawford calling out Spence and the disgusting display at the Claressa Shields - Ivana Habazin weigh in which led to a cancelled fight.

Take a look into the Tattoo Oscar De La Hoya lawsuit...crazy stuff! We are talking Spence - Porter and Dirrell - Benavidez. Claressa Shields is looking for a title in a 3rd weight class in her 10th pro fight Saturday night on Showtime. We compare what Claressa is doing for women's boxing to other fighters from the past that had an opportunity and maybe didn't help raise women's boxing as much as they could have. Jaron "Boots" Ennis, undefeated welterweight prospect continues his ascent up the ranks on the Shields-Habazin undercard and GGG faces a tough test against Derevyanchenko, potentially setting up a 3rd fight with Canelo if he wins. We'll be back next week to break it all down and preview what should be a strong finish to 2019. Follow the show @brooklyntoworld @paulmalignaggi @petercards
