Exodus 27-28 "The Courtyard And The Garments"

1 Thessalonians 1:1-10 "Their Faith Sounded Forth"

This morning we'll take a look at chapter 1 of 1 Thessalonians. Paul will commend this church in many ways as he let's them know that he remembers them before God as he prays for them for their work of faith, labor of love and patience of hope...and then he will speak of how their faith has sounded forth to all of the country that they lived in as they went out and shared their faith.

Exodus 27-28 "The Courtyard And The Garments"

This week we'll be looking at the courtyard of the tabernacle which will include the largest item used in the worship of God which is the altar of burnt offering...and then we'll be looking at the garments of the high priest and along the way we'll be tying Jesus into the different items and garments we look at.

1 Thessalonians: "Overview and Exhortations"

This week we'll begin our study through the book of 1 Thessalonians. We will do so with a small overview of the book along with some background information and how the church came into existence. We'll then close our time with a few exhortations that we must be ready for the return of Jesus for His church, that we must live our lives in a way that is worthy of our calling and that we must look to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others.

Exodus 25-26 "That He Might Dwell Among Them"

This week we will begin to look at the ceremonial law which is really God laying out how He wants to be worshipped. And we'll see the Lord command the Israelites to build a tabernacle that He might dwell among them.

Psalms 40-41 "To Be Set Upon A Rock"

This week we'll see David speak about a time in his life that he was in a deep pit...and as he was in that place he cried out to the Lord and the Lord heard his cry and set his feet upon a rock. We'll see David rejoicing in the incredible work that God was doing in him and we'll see him cry out to the Lord to work in his life each day.
