The Charlotte 49ers are coming off a tough loss to the Florida Gators, but head coach Biff Poggi is excited about what's ahead of his team and is vowing not to "waste failure". Head strength coach, Lewis Caralla, also joins the "Charlotte Football: Mining For Greatness" podcast to talk about his role with the players, including how he uses his own experiences and failures to motivate and inspire. Plus, linebacker Demetrius Knight II shares how the team has become a family and why they're all "diamonds in the rough"...looking to shine.

The Charlotte 49ers are on a two game losing streak, but head coach Biff Poggi remains optimistic about the team's future, saying staff and players have worked together, and it's been the best week of practice this season. It's a sentiment he knows well, after getting the call from coach Biff Poggi to come back and play, while working at a pretzel factory. Poggi also joins "Mining For Greatness" to talk about what the team needs to do to beat Georgia State, after a tough loss in Maryland.  Charlotte 49ers quarterback, Jalon Jones, shares what coach Poggi means to him, why he decided to come play for him, and how he hopes to make a difference someday in life after football.
