For instance, the report notes that 822,000 new members were students, while 337,000 were involved in sectors such as agriculture, animal husbandry, and fisheries. Additionally, in the past year, 971,000 of the newly admitted Party members were women, making up 46.5 percent; and 213,000 were from ethnic minority groups, accounting for 10.2 percent. The report also highlights the expansion of the CPC's grassroots presence, with over 5.43 million primary-level organizations by the end of 2025. This marks an increase of 181,000, or 3.4 percent, from the end of 2024. These organizations now encompass nearly all subdistricts, townships, communities, and villages across China, playing a pivotal role in government departments, businesses, and social institutions.
