Take a listen to my first film assignment for my Feminist Film Studies Module this semester :) The ten-minute version was submitted as my Feminist Film Studies assignment and essentially I was promoted to pick a film and explain ‘what makes it feminist’! My goal for the hour-long version is to convince you how I believe Women Talking (2022) is one of the best portrayals of feminist film to date! So Enjoy! TOPICS TO BE DISCUSSED: * Film Background, Plot & Execution * film analysis (CHaracter symbolism, cinematography, performance, etc) * Important dialogue, lines, symbols, wardrobe & score. * Comparison to past feminist films (Little Women (2019), Thelma and Louise, Barbie, etc). * General opinion, bigger picture final thoughts This is the ten-minute version so sorry if it's very monotoned as I also recorded it like 3000 times because I couldn't cram everything I wanted in it and I also pulled an all-nighter to record it but please enjoy and feel free to answer the Q&A on what your thoughts are on the episode!
