This week, she teaches us how to study a passage or book within its original context. Courtney and Madison discuss how this has affected their Bible study.

Episode 3 is all about chapter 3, study with purpose. The purpose of studying Scripture is determined by the Bible itself. It's a book that tells of the reign and rule of God through the creation of all things, the fall of mankind and fracturing of the cosmos, God's promise and plan to redeem humanity and all creation, and the consummation of the plan. We should approach Scripture with the purpose of looking for and identifying this big story, or metanarrative. Courtney and Madison also complain about first world problems.
