Sheeran, who signed with WMG in 2011, cited a desire for a professional shift as the reason for his departure. WMG will retain Sheeran’s catalog and long-term licenses for his two most recent albums. The film, based on Spears’ memoir “The Woman in Me,” will be directed by Jon M. Chu and produced by Marc Platt. The memoir, released in October 2023, became a bestseller and the audiobook, narrated by Michelle Williams, was the fastest-selling in Simon & Schuster’s history. The lawsuit claims a pattern of underreporting royalties and retroactively updating statements, with Dupri owed over $10 million in interest payments. The suit seeks damages, interest, and attorney fees The Ramones [https://www.spinmagazine.com/2026/07/the-ramones-50th-birthday/]’ 50th anniversary celebration will be held at Hollywood Forever Cemetery on August 30th. The event, hosted by John Travolta, will feature a live debut of a new punk supergroup, featuring members of Green Day, Rancid and blink-182, and a full set of Ramones classics. Proceeds will benefit cancer research. The beef, or should I say, pork, stems from a 2019 interview where Clairo jokingly commented on Peppa’s height, which Peppa may have interpreted as a jab.
