Parcels- Loved
Does anybody even read the descriptions? Well, if you do, get ready for... You guessed it, another indie album! This week Neil, much to Joe and TJ's vexation, chose the indie album Loved by the indie band Parcles. Are we noticing a trend? Join us this week as we discuss Neil's indie pick of the week! Here on Indie, I mean Disc Picks!
Menzingers- After the Party
EP Battle Royale!
Welcome to the Thunderdome! Join the boys this week as we each pick one EP to battle it out in a song-by-song point-style match-up! Tune in this week to see who wins, who loses, and who goes home crying.
Marcy Playground- Marcy Playground
I smell sex and... an eponymous album title. This week, we dive into Marcy Playground, everybody's favorite one-hit-wonder from the 90's. Join us this week as we discuss whether they're better than the one-hit-wonder title given to them, or if they earned it.
Wolf Alice- The Clearing
Welcome back to Disc Picks. Join us this week as we talk about John's pick: The Clearing by the band Wolf Alice! If you heard John's name and an obscure indie band and immediately assumed they were from somewhere overseas, you'd be correct! Wolf Alice is a band from London, England, and is named after a short story by author Angela Carter. Wolf Alice took the indie world by storm. You can catch them in Chicago at Lollapalooza this year on August 1st!
