With Maitreya out of the way, it's time to zip around in our very own Talon. That's right, our airship can finally fly! Until it can't. In this episode we explore Pureland (no, not that Pureland) on our continuing quest to stop the Water Entity and learn what a Xagor is. We'll collect some Mystic Swords and gather the Talon's crew members before plunging into the depths of the Underworld on our way to Goht. Also, was Mike the only person who watched Mummies Alive? What about Arthur and the Knights of Justice? That one doesn't come up in this episode, but still.

OK, Broomer (Final Fantasy Legend III Part 1)

We're finally diving into Final Fantasy Legend III, aka SaGa 3! This episode takes us across the past, present, and future in our quest to stop the Water Entity from flooding everything everywhere all at once. We'll stop off in Dharm, Elan, Lae, Viper, and Muu, and eventually blast off to Floatland for a showdown with Maitreya. Along the way we puzzle over the new five-step transformation system, wonder at the mechanics of nonlinear causality, and demand answers about Talons and their Units. And who or what is Xagor?

In After Years II, we battle our way through the gauntlet of bosses on the alien lunar surface. Finally, we add one more creator god to our podcast's kill count.
