First Century Christianity
In this Independence Day message, we reflect on the reverence due to the national anthem, the sacrifices made for American freedom, and the historical events that led to the Declaration of Independence. From the First and Second Continental Congresses to the courageous men who signed the Declaration, this message reminds us that liberty came at great cost. It also points to the providence of God—Yahweh—in preserving and blessing this nation from its founding to today.
