We are not going backwards. We are going forward. The world that's emerging looks pretty different from the one a lot of us were raised to expect. The traditional career path, the one most of us were sold, is crumbling. And I don't say that to scare you. I say it because I think we have to be honest about what's actually happening, so we can make wise decisions about what comes next. That's what I want to dig into today. Why NOW is the time. Now is the time to start your own business. Now is the time to take charge of your career. Now is the time to stop waiting for permission, for the perfect conditions, for someone else to tell you it's safe to begin. If you listened to episode 3, where I talked about the collective shift we're in, the rise of individuality, power to the people, and AI reshaping the workforce, you'll remember we went deep into the astrological transits we're moving through right now. That episode was about explaining what's happening on a cosmic level. This one is about what to actually do with it. What to do, in your real life, with your career, with your time. In this episode, you'll discover: * The story of the company where loyalty meant nothing * Why the cosmic shifts (Pluto in Aquarius, Saturn in Aries, Uranus in Gemini, and the 2027 Human Design transition) all point to NOW being the moment * What AI is actually disrupting first and why flexibility is becoming essential * Why you don't have to pick one thing forever  * Why fear is the worst life and career coach and how staying stuck doesn't actually make you safer * My own experience being pushed out multiple times  * The question you need to ask yourself: Do you really HAVE to stay, or is that just fear talking? Resources mentioned in this episode: * Passion Pattern Framework [https://www.carrysdotter.com/passion-pattern-framework]: Dig into what you're actually passionate about * Cosmic Career Clarity [https://www.carrysdotter.com/cosmic-career-clarity]: Five key chart placements that reveal what kind of work genuinely suits you * The Sovereignty Challenge [https://www.carrysdotter.com/sovereignty-challenge]: Start taking real ownership of your life and career Connect with Anna: * Website: carrysdotter.com [http://carrysdotter.com] [https://www.carrysdotter.com/] * Email: hello@carrysdotter.com [hello@carrysdotter.com] * Instagram: @carrysdotter [https://www.instagram.com/carrysdotter]  * Substack: carrysdotter.substack.com [http://carrysdotter.substack.com] Music: Milk Shake by Coma-Media, licensed through Pixabay  © 2026 Carrysdotter Stockholm AB. You Are Not Your Job Title: Identity, Labels, and the Boxes We Put Ourselves In

There's a question we get asked all the time. What do you do? And most of us, without even thinking, answer with a job title. I'm a teacher. I'm a project manager. I'm a copywriter. As if that one word, that one role, somehow captures who we actually are. The labels we use to describe ourselves were always meant to be tools. They were meant to help us understand ourselves, communicate what we do, and navigate the world. They were never meant to become cages that we feel trapped inside. That's the focus of this episode - Identity, labels, and the boxes we so often, without even realizing it, put ourselves in. Because whether it's a job title, an astrology sign, a Human Design type, or a Gene Keys sequence, we have this very human tendency to take a label that's meant to describe only one part of us and let it become the whole. And that is a very unfortunate way to limit our own sovereignty. In this episode, you'll discover: * Why job titles become our identity  * My own journey from Human Design reader to adding astrology, Gene Keys, purpose work, and career mentorship * How to be clear without being traditional * Why you don't have to pick one thing forever (even if you're not a Manifesting Generator or Gemini) * How spiritual systems can become new boxes if we're not careful * Projectors and the invitation misconception, Manifestors and the "repelling aura" myth, Manifesting Generators with a 1 profile * The backlash against these systems and why throwing them out isn't the answer * How to use the tools without becoming the tools Resources mentioned in this episode: * Passion Pattern Framework [https://www.carrysdotter.com/passion-pattern-framework]: Dig into the themes that have been showing up across your whole life * Cosmic Career Clarity [https://www.carrysdotter.com/cosmic-career-clarity]: See your design in a way that's expansive instead of restrictive * The Sovereignty Challenge [https://www.carrysdotter.com/sovereignty-challenge]: Take real ownership of who you are on your own terms * Jess Trent Interview [https://podcasts.apple.com/se/podcast/conscious-career-creators/id1747592966?l=en-GB&i=1000669223927]: From Anna's old podcast, digging into Manifestor misconceptions Connect with Anna: * Website: carrysdotter.com [http://carrysdotter.com] [https://www.carrysdotter.com/] * Email: hello@carrysdotter.com [hello@carrysdotter.com] * Instagram: @carrysdotter [https://www.instagram.com/carrysdotter]  * Substack: carrysdotter.substack.com [http://carrysdotter.substack.com] Music: Milk Shake by Coma-Media, licensed through Pixabay  © 2026 Carrysdotter Stockholm AB. jakson The Truth About Leaving Corporate: You're Still Playing a Game (Just a Different One) kansikuva

The Truth About Leaving Corporate: You're Still Playing a Game (Just a Different One)

There's something nobody really tells you when you decide to leave corporate life. Everyone frames it as this liberation, the escape. You're finally out of the system, finally free, finally done playing by rules that were never yours to begin with. And then about a year or maybe two into it, you realize you're still playing a game. Just a different one. That realization hit me pretty hard recently during a conversation with a friend, a fellow former corporate queen. We were sharing our experiences of working in big corporations, and halfway through, something shifted for me. I started seeing my career, both as an employee and as a business owner, in a completely new light. So instead of doing the "five things I learned in my first three years of business" episode I had planned, I'm sharing something else. Something I wish someone had said to me earlier. Because this is really what sovereignty looks like in practice. It's not just a concept. It's a daily choice about which games you're willing to play and which games you are not willing to play. In this episode, you'll discover: * The two big themes from corporate life * Why I was always awful at the corporate game (and what Human Design taught me about being a Projector) * The plot twist: you think you don't need to play the game once you leave corporate, but you do (just a different one) * The exhausting Instagram playbook: all the contradictory advice I followed (and why I stopped) * Which games you DO need to play vs. which games you don't owe anything to * Why the rules are going to change anyway, so you can't build a business on them * How the collective shift away from conformity means your individuality is your biggest asset Real talk from this episode: "I am not willing to play that game. I made the decision a while ago that I'm not, and it's one of the better decisions that I've made for my business, for myself, and honestly for my sanity." Resources mentioned in this episode: * One-on-one intensive sessions [https://www.carrysdotter.com/1-on-1]: Work together to figure out what sovereignty actually looks like for you specifically, your design, your strengths, your non-negotiables Connect with Anna: * Website: carrysdotter.com [http://carrysdotter.com] [https://www.carrysdotter.com/] * Email: hello@carrysdotter.com [hello@carrysdotter.com] * Instagram: @carrysdotter [https://www.instagram.com/carrysdotter]  Music: Milk Shake by Coma-Media, licensed through Pixabay  © 2026 Carrysdotter Stockholm AB. Finding Where You Thrive: Using Astrology and Human Design to Understand Your Ideal Environment

A few weeks ago I took a random Friday off. Instead of doubling down and powering through, I just stopped. I walked around my hometown, a place I've lived in for 20 years, and I felt nothing. No nostalgia, no warmth, no "I'm going to miss this." And that absence of feeling told me something really important: I have completely overstayed my welcome here. A few weeks before that, I was on a morning walk in Palma de Mallorca by the ocean, and it was the complete opposite. I was enjoying every single step. The air felt different. I felt lighter. And as I walked, I started thinking about all the places I've lived, all the offices I've commuted to, and how those places made me feel. Some felt really good. Others felt genuinely terrible. And here's the thing: the jobs with the nicest offices weren't always the ones that felt good. Environment matters. A lot. In life, in career, in business. When we spend significant time in a city, home, or office that doesn't feel right to us, it wears us down. So today we're talking about the importance of environment and how to tune into how you actually feel in a place, plus some fascinating clues from astrology and human design about what kinds of environments your specific energy is designed to thrive in. In this episode, you'll discover: * Why your moon sign reveals what you need to feel emotionally nourished and safe  * The five human design definition types and how they impact your need for people and environments * The six human design environment variables and what they mean for your workspace * Astro cartography basics: how planetary lines on a map influence where you feel at home * Anna's personal experience with Mars line (Stockholm) vs. Jupiter line (Palma) * Astrological indicators for feeling more at home abroad  * Why your MC line matters most for career and professional visibility Note: This episode includes chart examples, so you may want to watch on YouTube. The Truth About Age and Finding Yourself: Generational Perspectives on Purpose and Career

I recently saw a quote supposedly by David Bowie that said, "Aging is an extraordinary process where you become the person you always should have been." And it reminded me of many conversations about age and finding yourself that I've been having over the past few months. So let me ask you something: When do you think people actually find themselves? Like truly find themselves? Is it in your 20s when everything feels wide open? Your 30s when you've collected enough life experience? Your 40s or 50s when you've stopped caring what everyone else thinks? The honest answer is it's different for everyone. But I think the more important question isn't when, it's whether you give yourself permission to actually do it. Today we're talking about age, generations, and the very loaded question of finding your calling. Because there's a lot of noise out there: generational blame, comparison, the sense that you're either too young to know better or too old to start over. And I want to cut through all of that. In this episode, you'll discover: * Why every generation brings something valuable (and why generational blame is as old as time itself) * The truth about Gen Z: half incredibly ambitious, half unmotivated, and why both stem from the same thing * Why your 30s might actually be your most confusing decade (not your 20s) * The surprising return to yourself that happens around 40 * Astrological transits as developmental checkpoints: Nodal Return (18-19), Saturn Return (27-30), and Uranus Opposition (38-42) * Why these cosmic events aren't crises but course corrections * Real stories: working with clients from age 16 to 60 and what they had in common * Why you're a multifaceted being with more than one calling in this lifetime * Why it's never too late or too soon to start Resources mentioned in this episode: * Passion Pattern Framework [https://www.carrysdotter.com/passion-pattern-framework]: For anyone who has lots of interests but can't identify the underlying thread that connects them * Cosmic Career Clarity [https://www.carrysdotter.com/cosmic-career-clarity]: Five key chart placements showing how your design translates into meaningful work * One-on-one intensive sessions [https://www.carrysdotter.com/1-on-1]: Build your personalized roadmap based on your chart, history, and specific circumstances (link in show notes) Connect with Anna: * Website: carrysdotter.com [http://carrysdotter.com] [https://www.carrysdotter.com/] * Email: hello@carrysdotter.com [hello@carrysdotter.com] * Instagram: @carrysdotter [https://www.instagram.com/carrysdotter]  Music: Milk Shake by Coma-Media, licensed through Pixabay  © 2026 Carrysdotter Stockholm AB.
