June: This Is Where We Stand

At Grace Chapel, we deeply care about every person and believe that genuine love requires sharing the fullness of God’s truth. Daniel And Ezekiel

In this lesson, we will explore the powerful Old Testament books of Daniel and Ezekiel by learning who these men were, where they lived during the Babylonian exile, who they were speaking to, and how their messages impacted God’s people. We will walk through the major highlights of both books — including Daniel in the lions’ den, the fiery furnace, Ezekiel’s vision of dry bones, and God’s promise of a new heart — while discovering how their teachings still encourage believers today to remain faithful, stand strong in difficult cultures, and trust God’s power to restore broken lives.

Esther

This Bible study, “Faith in Hidden Places: The Book of Esther,” builds on Jesus’ promise in John 1:50–51 that His followers will see “greater things.” It walks through the story of Esther, highlighting how God is powerfully at work even when He seems unseen. Through a clear overview of Esther’s journey—from obscurity to courageous leadership—the study connects her life to the call of every disciple to live on the M.O.V.E.: Motivation, Obsession, Vision, and Exploration. Participants will discover how Esther’s willingness to step forward “for such a time as this” models the kind of active, faith-filled life Jesus invites us into. The study also explores how Philip and Nathanael, as Jewish men familiar with Esther’s story, would have understood Jesus’ call in John 1:41–51. They would have recognized the pattern of God using ordinary people, working behind the scenes, and calling for bold, courageous faith. This connection helps bring the message into focus: following Jesus means stepping into a life of trust, movement, and purpose—even when the full picture isn’t visible. This Bible study challenges participants to move beyond spiritual stagnation and embrace a dynamic relationship with Christ that leads to truly seeing “greater things.”

Ecclesiastes

In this episode, we take an honest look at the tension between the raw reality of Ecclesiastes and the hope we just celebrated at Easter through Jesus Christ. Ecclesiastes tells us life is “meaningless”—or more accurately, a vapor, here one moment and gone the next—reminding us that our time is short, death is certain, and life rarely goes as planned. But the resurrection of Jesus interrupts that story, offering something beyond the fleeting and unpredictable nature of life under the sun. In this conversation, we wrestle with life’s brevity and uncertainty while discovering how, through Christ, what feels temporary can actually carry eternal significance.

Proverbs

This Bible study on the Book of Proverbs builds on the message of laying down your “C.O.A.T.”—your Comfort, Opinion, Attitude, and perceived truth—and shows how God’s wisdom calls us to live differently. Through key passages in Proverbs, you’ll gain a clear, practical understanding of how to exchange your way of thinking for God’s wisdom in everyday life. This study helps you see the big picture of Proverbs while also giving you simple, personal application so you can walk in greater clarity, humility, and spiritual growth.
