When we walk in step with the Holy Spirit and follow him into the household of faith, we bring his love, we genuinely help others, and we sow seeds of goodness that will bring a gracious and glorious return. The exhortation for us today is to enter the congregation in the freedom of Christ, filled with the Spirit, to serve one another through love. Grace Community Church exists to build spiritually healthy people for ministry in the world. One of the ways that we pursue this mission is by gathering each Sunday for corporate worship, prayer, and biblical teaching. The message of Galatians has been that we are justified before God by the merits of Christ that we receive by faith, and not by our merit achieved by keeping the law. Now we hear that we are made holy by walking in the Spirt who we have also received by faith. The grace that sent Christ to the cross to save us from our sins is the grace that sent the Holy Spirit into our hearts to make us holy like Christ.
