Hi there! Living in this world is difficult, and we have had difficult experiences that have impacted us greatly. However, we can overcome when we recognize the limiting beliefs and limiting "soundtracks" that our subconscious plays. These are not who we are! These are the messages our subconscious has absorbed and we need to recognize them, understand they were there to help us survive, and know they are not needed today. Let's replace those old subconscious beliefs with a new soundtrack that takes you back to your authentic self and helps you be all you were created to be. Get in a quiet place or use headphones, take a few deep breaths with long exhales to prepare yourself, and then follow along by repeating these positive affirmations in your mind or out loud. Even better is to tap your body as you say each one. This connects your nervous system to the words, reaffirming to your nervous system and subconscious that you are safe now and can receive these words. Repeat regularly to remind yourself of who you truly are.

This episode dives into some important recent reflections I've come upon and what they mean for me in terms of my wellness, mindset, and belief in myself and my path forward. I invite you to listen to my journey and believe that in doing so you will have the opportunity to reflect on your own journey. My hope is that you leave encouraged and inspired to continue forward well in your life!

My topic here today is why not me and why not you? Okay, so I put this phrase out there. I did this first on LinkedIn. I've been thinking about it, and it was like, why or why not? One word difference in those questions. Why or why not? but a world of difference! The first one questions, "Why?" "Why?" "Why?" The second one sees possibilities. "Why not?" "Why not?" I'm pondering things like this as I navigate life at 50 plus. I'm on the move globally. Currently, I'm recording this from Costa Rica on the Pacific coast in the town of Quepos. Words matter. Words have power. The words we say and reflect on impact our pysche, attitude, outlook and even beliefs. With this in mind it is important that we have positive affirmations to reflect on. Some call these "affirmations", others "positive manifestations", others call it "positive thinking" or "mediation reflections". Whatever you want to call it,(I'll call it affirmations to be simple), the words we speak, think and reflect on can influence us so let's make them positive.
