Grief: When Love Has Nowhere To Go

This week on Heart Full Mind Heavy, Debs & Alex talk about grief and the journey you go on as an individual. They discuss how grief can affect everyone in different ways and how there are 5 'classic stages' of grief that people can experience after loss.  The stages are not a checklist, timeline, or rulebook.  People move in and out of them, skip them entirely, or experience several at once. Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression & Acceptance. How loss doesn't necessarily mean the death of someone. It can come through divorce, losing friendship, losing a version of yourself etc. Grief is love with nowhere to go. Maybe the goal isn't returning to who you were before loss.
