They started doin' things that weren't pleasing to the Lord. And when folks wander off, sometimes trouble comes callin'. This time, the trouble came in the form of a mighty king named Jabin, the king of Canaan. He lived in a strong fortress called Hazor. His top general, a fella named Sisera, was a mean one. He had a whole mess of powerful war wagons, what they called chariots of iron – mighty fearsome, like a whole stampede of armored stagecoaches! He had 900 of 'em! And for twenty long years, he oppressed the people of Israel cruelly, pushin' 'em around and makin' their lives hard. Now, you remember last time—Joshua sent two brave scouts ridin’ into Jericho, quiet as coyotes under a moonlit sky. They came back sayin’, “Land’s mighty fine… but that city’s locked up tighter than a rancher’s prize bull before rodeo day.” Walls so tall and thick, they looked like they’d never be thrown. But the Lord spoke to Joshua, steady and sure, like a seasoned trail boss. He said, “Joshua, that city?
