One of the more distinctive groups to come out of the Homegrown Music series, Bedful of Metaphysicians combined a high level of musicianship with art rock and fusion influence, with often humorous and topical lyrics.

Jay Leonhart is one of the leading and ubiquitous bassists in jazz, having performed and recorded with Peggy Lee, Frank Sinatra James Taylor, Sting, Mel Torme, Peter, Paul & Mary, Gerry Mulligan, Phil Woods, Urbie Green and many others.

The Mommyheads

First formed in 1987 when the members were still in high school, the Mommyheads are known for thier distinctive blend of art rock and melodic pop, aliong with clever lyrics.

Ann Rabson

Known for her work as one third of the blues trio Saffire the Uppity Blueswomen, Ann Rabson (1945-2013) was a great blues pianist, guitarist, vocalist and songwriter.

Eric Doney Band

A memorable 2004 performance by the late jazz pianist Eric Doney with a large all-star group doing jazzy arrangements of pop and soul tunes featuring vocalist Vicki Doney.
